Acresfield Health Club & Spa offers members luxury Aquatics facilities and Gym. Members and Non-Members can enjoy our Bistro, Hair and Spa. Members get full use of 15 x 8 metre Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Experience Shower, state of the art Technogym, over 20 classes including Yoga, Zumba, Circuits and discount on treatments at the Spa and Hair Studio... The Bistro, Spa and our Hair Studio are open to Non-Members, with classes accessible 24 hours in advance. Our environmentally conscious facilities mean we can boast an A Rating. It includes family changing areas and lockers, plus disabled access and Wi-Fi. Come and discover one of the North West’s most luxury Health Club experiences.

We enjoy going to Acresfield and visit as much as possible.
I work away a great deal so my weekends are often hectic, catching up on chores and the usual things. wish the gym was open longer hours over the weekend too.
We would recommend.

My friend and i couldn't fault our spa day - from the friendliness of everyone, the superb purpose built facilities, the fresh, tasty food, the wonderful, professionally done treatments..... everything was spot on. Considering a membership but will certainly be booking more treatments anyway.... Keep up the great standards. Highly recommended.

I dont understand why this is so quiet. It really is a very great place. The spa is lovely and the pool is perfect. I recomemd Acresfield.

Shocking!!! Booked 2 massages weeks in advance. Never received email confirmation of said booking, so surely they wrote my details down!!! when I arrived was told they had no record of my booking and the therapist I was expecting no longer works there! I assume it was a manager but not 100%, was mumbling from the back room to his employees but yet he didn't come out to speak to me in person and apologise, nor did he try to rectify the situation. Would he if I was a member rather than a non-member?! Was my £67 not as good as members?! I usually go to RibbyHall for my massages, as a treat and I will most definitely be returning to RibbyHall. Not the relaxing, de-stressing experience one hopes for when attending a spa for treatments.

Sadly we had a bad and upsetting experience at this facility. My children had been regular attendees at the club for their swimming lessons. Unfortunately on our last visit the manager shouted from the balcony at me as he thought my child was coming into the club on his scooter, this was not the case. I have no problem with following club rules and would have done so if I had been told about them what I didn't appreciate is being bellowed at for all to hear in such an aggressive way. Unfortunately as I felt that the manager was unapproachable I reviewed my upsetting experience on their Facebook reviews page and now the children and myself have been barred from their swimming lessons and the club. A review page is for reviewing positives and negatives which should be looked into in a constructive way to hopefully turn then into a positive, this is not the case at the club. Very sad as the swimming instructors are fantastic and have brought my children on leaps and bounds. Extremely poor customer service from the management.

The facilities are great, but what is the point if it's never open?! Closing at 4pm at weekends is just not good enough. I don't believe it is unreasonable for an 8pm close at weekends.

disappointed how cold the jacuzzi was, £10 for a swimming pool session, with sauna and steam room, couldn't use the gym without buying membership, dear signing up fee and small shallow pool

Dear Guest, Thank you for visiting Acresfield Health Club & Spa. We would like to thank you for your valued feedback. We are committed to delivering the perfect experience for each and every guest and are disappointed that on this occasion we did not achieve this for you.
Firstly with regards to the Jacuzzi being cold we have to clean it once per day and when this is done it is slightly colder than usual unfortunately this must have been done around the time you had come in. With a guest pass you are entitled to have use of the pool, gym and fitness classes providing that the member you have come with is attending them also. To use the gym you must fill out a detailed Par Q and get it checked by a fitness instructor at the time of arrival.
Finally the signing up fee is a one off payment of £10 to cover costs of admin and the wristband which is yours to use every time you come in.
We hope to welcome you back in the future so that we may provide a wonderful experience for you.

As a member, I enjoy going to Acresfield and when at home, visit as frequently as possible.
I work away a great deal so my weekends are often hectic, catching up on chores.....I wish the gym was open longer hours over the weekend,i.e. the same as during the week.Consequently,I have been unable to go for several weeks and am thinking of cancelling my membership as its now poor value.
Management team, please review as this seems to be a theme in your feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We have recently extended our opening hours as a result of feedback from our Members. You can now use the Pool and Gym from 8.30am on weekends. The Spa is also currently open on Sundays from 10am to 1pm. We hope that you find these changes more suitable to your needs.

1) lack of information on website regarding pool activities, so you cannot plan a swim Russian roulette
2) attempted to gain littuature regarding pool times, again not very clear and will class the pool as open at times. However when you arrive there maybe a class on and all swimmers are restricted to sharing one lane. Not very conducive to a relaxed time I can tell you. I guess it’s to much to highlight “restricted use” for these times.
3) due to the above I thought I guess I will have to ring them each time I intend going for a swim, menial and time wasting I know but I felt I had no option. How wrong I was, I was told over the phone it was the baby group 10:00 to 12:00; as it was 09:05 I thought if I rush I can get down there and have my half an hour swim, great. Stopped what I was doing and threw my stuff in the car. However on arrival 10 minutes later I was told by reception “ O baby club starts at 09:30 today, you won’t have time for a swim until after 12:00”. What an unprofessional farce

This amazing Leisure Centre,state of the ark building.Wonderful swimming pool etc.But the best thing for me is the hairdressers.
Sharon has transformed my hair from thin and dry,to thick and lovely and soft.Lovely new style too. Her advise and expertise is really good.Staff all friendly.The Beauty Salon upstairs is lovely too.
All highly recommended.

I joined acresfield in November I have only managed to use the facilities 4 times.i
I am having problems with my thyroid and are not up to going a lot of the time.Am I still tied into the 12 month contract?

Just rang and asked about membership. Was delighted to hear about the NHS discount but sad that if my husband and I both joined we would have to forfeit my discount and pay the joint membership price. Seems silly to allow a discount on single membership only :( cannot see why they could not have given a discount in proportion for the joint membership?
