Acresfield Health Club & Spa offers members luxury Aquatics facilities and Gym. Members and Non-Members can enjoy our Bistro, Hair and Spa. Members get full use of 15 x 8 metre Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Experience Shower, state of the art Technogym, over 20 classes including Yoga, Zumba, Circuits and discount on treatments at the Spa and Hair Studio... The Bistro, Spa and our Hair Studio are open to Non-Members, with classes accessible 24 hours in advance. Our environmentally conscious facilities mean we can boast an A Rating. It includes family changing areas and lockers, plus disabled access and Wi-Fi. Come and discover one of the North West’s most luxury Health Club experiences.

We enjoy going to Acresfield and visit as much as possible.
I work away a great deal so my weekends are often hectic, catching up on chores and the usual things. wish the gym was open longer hours over the weekend too.
We would recommend.

Shocking!!! Booked 2 massages weeks in advance. Never received email confirmation of said booking, so surely they wrote my details down!!! when I arrived was told they had no record of my booking and the therapist I was expecting no longer works there! I assume it was a manager but not 100%, was mumbling from the back room to his employees but yet he didn't come out to speak to me in person and apologise, nor did he try to rectify the situation. Would he if I was a member rather than a non-member?! Was my £67 not as good as members?! I usually go to RibbyHall for my massages, as a treat and I will most definitely be returning to RibbyHall. Not the relaxing, de-stressing experience one hopes for when attending a spa for treatments.

Me and my support worker Bev had a very good pedicure on our toes but Margaret on reception got mixed up my support worker Bev rang and booked us for yesterday morning at 9am instead and we wanted a pedicure with gel toes and gel nail polish and instead we got a pedicure and normal nail polish and we will not be coming back again we’ll be going else and we came yesterday morning at 9am and Margaret booked us in on the wrong day Margaret got mixed up and Sian and Janet were very nice ladies they did a very pedicure

Had a lovely manicure on my hands and my support worker had a lovely foot manicure the staff were lovely and friendly and chatty and definitely coming here again loved it I felt really relaxed and it was really nice

Every time I go the staff are very welcoming and helpful any queries I have are dealt with in a very professional manner, but most importantly the whole building is spotlessly clean on every visit.
Also I would say it is never too busy, and the coffee is to die for!!

This was my first experience of a massage at Acresfield Spa, and it was a great 40 minutes of relaxation. Will be visiting each month from now onwards.

Had my eyebrows tinted and waxed by a lovely young lady and it was done brilliantly. I don’t know what lovely cooling oil/gel she used before and after waxing but it felt amazing. Also afterwards I had hardly any redness and no little white head spots that I get all the time as my skin is very sensitive. Would definitely highly recommend and I will definitely be having them done there all the time in the future. Thank you.

+ A very modern Health club with excellent facilities. The whole amenity is kept very clean and is only spoilt by the few members that decide to leave empty shampoo bottles, human hair and other items littered about when there are litter bins readily available.
- When any item of equipment or facility is broken it takes long periods before they are repaired. Only recently it took three weeks to repair the spinner in the gents. Currently the door in the ladies shower is broken and is now running into its third week rendering the shower useless. Item of gym equipment take weeks not days to be repaired.
It is quite clear that although it is a great club, it would appear that it is very badly managed as there is no urgency or contract in place with the relevant trades people to carry out work immediately. The staff are very willing but they cannot help as their hands are tied.

I have been a member at Acresfield for almost 2 years and I think it's a fantastic place.. Lots of classes are included in the membership and these are easily booked online. There's a fab gym, a wonderful pool, which is always warm. a lovely jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and even a bistro with a great variety of food and drinks.. I find all the staff to be professional and friendly and I feel it is a really well run establishment...

I joined acresfield in November I have only managed to use the facilities 4 times.i
I am having problems with my thyroid and are not up to going a lot of the time.Am I still tied into the 12 month contract?

Just rang and asked about membership. Was delighted to hear about the NHS discount but sad that if my husband and I both joined we would have to forfeit my discount and pay the joint membership price. Seems silly to allow a discount on single membership only :( cannot see why they could not have given a discount in proportion for the joint membership?
