Terrible. Sadly the second time visit. No sausage left so scrambled egg and bacon sandwich on gluten free bread. Bacon and egg inedible. Bread ok! Really disappointed as it’s the second time of trying. Hubbys panini was ok!

Lovely well kept place. We love it so much we've bought an annual parking pass. The cafe is nice too. We regularly run around the various tracks and finish with a relaxing drink.

We often use Hicks Lodge as a base for a country run. Lovely little cafe to help refuelling! Car park on site but make sure you get a ticket from the machine!

Not too taxing. Just the right level of difficulty to keep your eye in. Plus a variety of different routes for the kids.

Visited with my 2 children and a friend plus her 4 children. Fab cycle round the lake and a lovely spot for a picnic afterwards. Children enjoyed playing in the play area too, especially the large wooden climbing frame.
