    Outstanding location.
We are currently staying at Brigg View in Filey and it's lovely. The weather has been unsettled but is lovely today; but the stormy weather has been wonderful to watch from the apartment. There are uninterrupted views from the lounge and double bedroom and this is great, and because we're on the second floor, the view isn't compromised by parked cars. The apartment is very clean. The longe and dining furniture are comfortable, as are the beds in all three bedrooms. The kitchen is clean and well equipped and the apartment is spacious. I would highly recommend this apartment for those seeking space, comfort and fantastic views.

Plenty of parking with a great cafe and toilets. Steep walk to the beach. Plenty of room on the beach. The tide was going out so we were able to walk round the beach onto the Brigg. Our 5 year old grandson is obsessed with Dinosaurs and things like Amonites. He was over the moon when he found a large Amonite. It was one of the highlights of a wonderful week in the Filey area.

Very windy on our first visit to Filey Brigg I noted looking from Filey bay cars parked up at the north end of the beach headland. OS map out and located the car park at the Brigg. Now it’s free parking February but I suspect from Easter onwards that will alter. Walked along the well trodden pathway to the headland it’s a bit muddy in places but manageable. Our visit was a lead skies day with a tough westerly gale wind blowing. Some information boards along the way giving the walker an idea what was what years ago. It’s on the Cleveland way 8 miles walk to Scarborough can be undertaken when the weathers not so fierce Recommended walk has long per usual you don’t get too near the crumbling Cliff edges !! . Views would be ace on a clear calm sunny day.

As a family we love the Filey Country Park and have visited many times however our last visit earlier this week was spoiled by the new toilets. They cost 40p which I do not at all object to, you lock the door by a sensor but they do not in fact lock, someone walked in on my son in law. You cannot see if they are in use. They are not as clean as the old block and I would say they had not been cleaned all day. I think we will visit elsewhere in the future.

The walk down from the carpark a bit of a killer. Beach was small but good. Couldn’t get to the Brigg as tide too far in. Toilets 40p to pee! Wow it used to be spend a penny! That is outrageous they weren’t even clean ! Avoid

A medium walk from the car park brings into view the footpath which goes along the top of the brigg. Fine views of Filey to one side and rugged coastline on the other. Make sure you walk to the end but no further than the fence. You are rewarded with great sea views at this point.

We enjoyed our day here. Parking in the large field, you can be lucky enough to get on the far edge with a sea view for your picnic. Walking the headland we took a good look a the unusual rock terraces, spotted a seal and had a kestrel hovering at eye level on the updraught, Magical. Enjoy

We enjoyed the walk out on Filey Brigg. There are some interesting rock formations. It could be a bit tricky for those not steady on their feet!
