It had been raining for a couple of days prior to our visit, so the volume of water really made this site even more impressive. Best waterfall we've seen in the area

Went here on a recommendation from a friend. The waterfall is located in a large garden to the rear of the The Green Dragon Inn in Hawes. There is a car park to the rear of the inn and you pay in the little cafe...More

A very reasonably priced attraction (only £2.50). Easy to find, just outside the pretty village of Hawes (easy walking distance, about 1.5 miles). A very relaxing short walk from the pub car park, if you drive there, via ticket office (and ice cream stall!)

My first visit was 45 years ago and still water is flowing over it! There are signs saying you mustn't go behind the waterfall... I took friends recently and they were very impressed. Best to go the day after it has rained so that the...More

For just a few £'s entrance fee well worth a visit especially as it had rained during the previous night, giving the waterfall even more 'force', it was spectacular!

We visited during heavy rains, fortunately this added to the flow of water. Peaceful, tranquil area well worth the visit. Entrance through the Green Dragon pub begged for a stop off pint of ale, unfortunately at the time they were not serving food.

The force is well worth visiting - amazing natural waterfall. Worth the £2.50 levy. Not far to walk & toilets available.

After seeing Hardraw force come out of the Green Dragon pub and turn right. Walk to the stream. Locals walk along there. However, there is lots of walks in the area. Just follow your nose. Beautiful area.

It would be accessible with care! You would not be able to get as far up to the waterfall as others, as the nearer you get, the more rough and uneven the terrain.
