Lovely lunch in the Wensleydale creamery café. very good shop, bought some Christmas presents and cheese. Excellent cheese making demo by a gentleman who even held young children's attention. Plenty of parking

We really enjoyed our visit to Wensleydale Creamery. The cheese making demonstration was very informative, the guy doing it was very engaging and funny. A little walk around the factory was followed by a wonderful lunch in the café. In the cheese room you can...More

We visit here every year to sample and purchase some lovely cheeses. The actual shop area is very cluttered with displays all over the place, making it difficult to navigate. However, it is largely and enjoyable experience and we always leave with some nice cheeses.

This was a pleasant surprise. The cheese factory is well worth a visit and the visit includes an excellent cheese tasting at the end. There is also a very good cafe where you can do a light lunch that can include the wonderful cheeses made...More

Visited the Creamery as part of a family reunion. Have been vising this place for the last 21 years and always enjoy having lunch here and sampling and then buying cheese - especially Wensleydale cheese. Never disappoints.

Very interesting museum but let down by the lack of cheese making demo. Such a pity as this is a great place for children. Sampling in the cheese shop was excellent.

Arrived at 2.10pm to be told that the last cheese making demo of the day had just finished (Visitor Experience closes at 4pm). It was a half-term Saturday too. Didn't stay - our kids wanted to see the cheese being made. Rubbish.

We came here on a Saturday. We paid to go into the museum part, which had a demonstration rather that viewing the cheese makers at work. “They don’t work weekends”. We were told this after paying to look at the poor selection of things to...More

I have 2 dogs and we left them in the car. It's only a small place so you wouldn't be in long. We just kept checking them. There is a cafe with seating outside where dogs are allowed. Hope this helps. Well worth a visit... More
