I had afternoon tea here having had been given a voucher for my birthday. The afternoon tea was superb with quality sandwiches and cakes. My husband went in the whisky tour which was also fantastic and got to try 3 whiskies. Very impressed with the visit. They are right on top of social distancing and covid guidelines so you can feel comfortable about visiting

Welcomed by 2 very helpful, friendly & knowledgeable girls in Reception ..lucky to sample the great Whisky they make. Had a Fantastic Cheeseboard , all cheeses were delicious , Pot of the great Yorkshire Tea Coffee & Home Made Fruit Scones. Served by lovely staff. The Cafe is super clean, quirky & you are spoilt for choice with Home Made Soup of the Day, Quiche of the Day & Cake if the day plus Panini's etc.. ample parking , pop in its Super. Took home their home made local lager which was good too.

What looks like an unprepossessing industrial unit from the outside, houses a shop, cosy cafe - where we enjoyed an excellent fruit cake - and the distillery. A video gave the history of the (relatively) new venture and our informative guide talked us through the distilling process before we sampled three of the whiskies. It's just a short walk from Hunmanby station (we'd hopped on a train from Filey, the next stop) so easily accessed if you want to leave the car at home. If you are the designated driver, you'll be pleased to hear there's a tasting take-away package for you. And you get to keep your testing glass! It was a pleasant and informative way to pass an hour or so and the "field to glass" ethos is well worth supporting. The whisky was pretty good too!
