About
Mother Shipton’s is a beloved Knaresborough landmark and England’s oldest visitor attraction, open since 1630. Discover the fascinating story of Mother Shipton who was born in a cave by the River Nidd and whose prophecies (such as the defeat of the Spanish Armada and the Great Fire of London) became known throughout England. Visit her legendary birthplace and experience the wonder of the Petrifying Well, a unique geological phenomenon with cascading water which turns objects to stone - as if by magic. There’s something for the whole family including themed events throughout the school holidays, a large children’s Adventure Playground (access subject to weather conditions) and a quirky little Gift Shop. Refreshments are available to purchase from vintage-style kiosks in the middle of the woodland walk. There are plenty of picnic benches and scenic views. Dogs on a lead are welcome everywhere except the adventure playground and Gift Shop. For more info and to book visit the website.

- Rosie LBirstall, United Kingdom174 contributionsMagical experienceWe have visited Mother Shipton's Cave a few times now for both the Halloween and Christmas experience and keep coming back. The Christmas experience is absolutely magical and their Father Christmas is one of the best I have encountered. We love seeing all the amazing decorations and taking part in the different activities in the cabins and tents. The picnic cabins are a fantastic idea too for sitting and having a drink and a hotdog with a bit of shelter. The woodland setting is beautiful and we all enjoy the steady stroll down to the cave. You definitely need wellies or walking boots in winter months as it is all dirt paths through the woods. We plan to visit in summer time this year to take advantage of the playground.Thank you for contacting Mother Shipton's. We are delighted to read your wonderful review of our Magical Christmas Experience. We're so pleased that you have become a regular visitor for our Halloween and Christmas events, and that you have made this a special Christmas tradition. We will pass on your wonderful feedback to Father Christmas and his wonderful team of elves, who put a lot of hard work into setting up all of the beautiful displays for the event. We're glad to hear that you also took advantage of our covered picnic cabins, we also have a heated seating area tipi at Christmas so there's always somewhere lovely and warm to enjoy your hot chocolate! We would love to see you again for another one of our events, and to see how the attraction transforms with the seasons. This year, our events include: Easter Wonderland, Lost Boys for May Half Term, Finding Neverland this Summer, Hocus Pocus Halloween and of course the return of our fabulous Christmas experience. We look forward to welcoming you back! - christinahj13Leeds, United Kingdom48 contributionsMagical visitGreat for a visit to see the well and cave if you haven’t been before. The history of the place is fascinating and magical. We had a pram which you could bring in but had to leave it at the pram parking to go down to the well and cave. The cafe area looks like a great picnic spot for lunch and there’s a children’s play area. It’s perhaps a little bit pricey at £6 each for pedestrians but appreciate that they need to maintain the area. 1-2 hours suggested duration is about right. We parked elsewhere so we could explore Knaresborough.Thank you for contacting Mother Shipton's. We are happy to read that you enjoyed a magical visit to Mother Shipton's, discovering the history of the site and exploring the ancient attraction. It's great to hear that you found Mother Shipton's to be fascinating and magical. We do indeed have a lovely area for picnics, including covered picnic cabins in the woodland. We serve barista coffees, ice cream, pies and sweet treats. Thank you for appreciating the immense effort and investment that goes into protecting this ancient site for future generations to enjoy. - Philip H70 contributionsNot a cafeThe cafe isn't a cafe; it is a kiosk selling coffee and hotdogs. It also offers pies subject to availability; they weren't available. We had three kids with us who needed feeding. The rules are you can't leave and come back if you drive in. We were only told this after we paid. The team at the gate were very unhelpful but eventually begrudgingly let us leave to get some food. The play area was closed. The museum is a tiny corner of the shop. It is a fun place for the kids to visit for a few hours but overpromises.Thank you for contacting Mother Shipton's. We don't have a cafe on site, but we do have a kiosk that sells barista coffees, sweet treats, hot dogs, ice cream and pies. We do apologise that we had ran out of pies at the time of your visit. We have plenty of covered seating areas to enjoy a picnic or food and drinks from our kiosk. We do not advertise our kiosk as a cafe, our team members would be more than happy to recommend options in the town if you were looking for something more substantial after your visit, and there are other car parks nearby for visiting the town. The website clearly states thar parking is only for visiting the attraction, it is also mentioned in the terms and conditions, written on information boards outside the main entrance and explained to visitors on arrival. Unfortunately the playground does have to be closed if the ground is too wet and slippery as it wouldn't be safe to allow visitors to enter in such conditions. We hope you can appreciate that visitor safety must come first. The fact that the playground is subject to weather conditions is also stated in our terms and conditions, and visitors are informed on arrival if this is the case on the day of your attendance. We are not usually open during February as we are a seasonal attraction, but this year we have opened earlier than expected and have enjoyed welcoming visitors back to the site at a reduced rate for this quiet season. - RussSouth Yorkshire, United Kingdom126 contributionsSo so.Perhaps due to the time of year and being a wet day, but we felt a bit underwhelmed by our trip here. The park wasn’t open, so it’s more of just a wander down to the well and cave. Not really how I’d envisaged it if I’m honest. Ok we’ve seen it. Not sure I’d rush back. The biggest frustration really though was the hot of food and drink at the kiosk. I ordered a soup. £3 for a cup that was smaller than what they sold regular coffee in. Certainly felt hard done by. As I say we won’t be rushing back.Thank you for contacting Mother Shipton's. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed after your recent visit to the attraction. As you visited us during our quiet season there is significantly less to see in the park than usual and the woodland is still very much in the grips of winter - this is reflected in the substantially discounted admission fees we have been charging. We would love for you to revisit us during our peak season to experience the full Mother Shipton magic, explore one of our seasonal events and see the beautiful woodland in all its glory. With regards to your comment about our catering, we will certainly take your feedback on board and look to make adjustments where possible. - Rachel K1 contributionFantastic trip to the cave!Amazing Easter experience for kids. We took our 5 year old & expected to just visit the cave, but there was also a fabulous Easter themed event there. The staff put in so much effort to make the experience magical for my daughter. She particularly loved visiting the mad hatter from Alice in Wonderland & wondering through the different themes tipis decorated for Easter. The walk along the river is beautiful too and we enjoyed the visit to the museum & shop. The lady in the shop was so friendly & accommodating. Would definitely recommend for a visit for kids particularly during the Easter holidays or any other time.Thank you so much for your fantastic 5 star review! We are thrilled to hear that you and your daughter enjoyed our Easter Wonderland event so much! It means a great deal that you noticed all the effort and attention to detail we put in to making the event magical for our visitors. It's great to hear that you enjoyed walking along the river as well as visiting the Gift Shop and Museum. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to our Mad Hatter and Gift Shop Assistant too! We are so pleased that you would recommend a visit to our attraction and hope to welcome you back soon - perhaps for one of our upcoming events! - Popstacle77Coventry, United Kingdom8 contributionsInitial denial of entry. After being informed at the gate that the attraction was full until after 3pm we were refused entry. However, after checking online, there were places available to book before 3pm. We revisited the entrance with this information and they admitted us. Very disappointed with the incorrect information that they gave us and initially turned us away. Once we managed to enter, the caves and attractions were excellent.Thank you for contacting Mother Shipton's. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our Easter Wonderland event and thought that the cave and the attraction were excellent. During bank holiday weekends we ask that all visitors pre book their tickets online to avoid disappointment. The Easter bank holiday is always a very popular time to visit and on the day you chose to visit us, all car park spaces had sold out and there were only a few remaining pedestrian slots for walk-in visitors. Around the time you arrived at the attraction, it was becoming extremely busy so to prevent the park from becoming too overcrowded, our team at the gate were asked not to admit any more people unless they had a prebooked ticket. We do apologise that the team on the gate did not inform you that there was still a few remaining pedestrian slots available to book online, but they may not have been aware of this as they were just asked to help reduce congestion. We understand that this may have been frustrating, but as a small attraction we are doing our best to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for our visitors. We hope to welcome you back for one of our future events. The place was well decorated with an Easter theme, and there were so many beautiful spots for photos! The staff members who played the roles of the Bunny Man and the Mad Hatter were professional and fun. And let’s not forget the amazing petrifying caves and the wishing well. Both kids and adults had a fantastic day!Thank you for your utterly fantastic review of your visit to Mother Shipton's. We are thrilled to read all about your amazing visit during the Easter holidays, and will pass on your excellent feedback to your actors. - RayeColchester, United Kingdom591 contributionsInteresting history but not much for slightly older kids!We came to mother shiptons cave not knowing what to expect, we have slightly older boys, not quite teenagers but almost! We enjoyed it, the Easter displays were good, I do think it’s definitely more aimed for kids ten and under all round and wasn’t so much for our boys, plus the playground was shut which was a real shame! But the history itself was great and the whole place was dog friendly !Thank you for your positive review of your visit to England's Oldest Tourist Attraction. We're pleased you enjoyed the displays and history, as well as the site being dog friendly. We do apologise that the playground had to be shut on the day you visited, it is subject to weather and ground conditions as it can become wet and slippery, and we must put visitor safety first. We do try to have something for everyone, and have had visitors of all ages enjoying the history and legends of the attraction, but we will take on board your feedback that you found our Easter event was suited to younger children. We do hope you will return to visit us again. It was an interesting place to visit, something of a curiosity with a long history. I would recommend a visit, it was a loverly walk along the river to the small cave and petrifying well. Totally charming and pleasant with plenty for kids to explore along the way with a decent play area, there are some modest offerings of food and drink and at the end of the trail sits a small museum and gift shop. If you are a group of two adults (as we were) then save yourself money by parking for 4 hours in the car park opposite and purchase pedestrian entry tickets. I would also recommend on quieter days not to use the attractions website as a £1.50 handling/booking fee is also added. Parking on site is allowed while visiting the attraction. So we parked opposite for 4 hours got pedestrian tickets on the gate which was much more cost effective and gave us the opportunity of being able to explore the wonderful surrounding town. Well worth a few hours of your time.

Excellent day out with the family!
Plenty to see and to interact with. The staff were friendly and the overall feel is magical. Due to the restrictions they could only allow 7 people in the museum/gift shop at any time, but I’d much rather be safe and have to wait. There was also plenty of hand sanitise stations dotted about.
Would 100% recommend, and would come again.

We would like to thank you for your patience in waiting to visit the museum and gift shop, and for understanding that this is for the safety of our visitors and staff. We have a member of staff stood at the door reminding visitors to wear face coverings and sanitise their hands before entering. There are hand sanitising stations throughout the attraction and signs reminding our visitors about social distancing.

£31.50 per car would be good value if the car was full of 5 people or more, but for 3 people it's very expensive for what it is. It was worth £15 at the most.
A short walk to the well and cave, nothing much of interest to see on the way. However the river is beautiful.
The well is interesting, but the cave is very small with a statue of Mother Shipton in it. Its not really a cave more of an overhang.
The museum is tiny and attached to the shop, meaning there's a long queue to get in.
It's a shame as this place could be brilliant, but its not reaching it's potential.
It was also spoilt by stupid red and pink locks that people had attached to the railings, tree roots, plants and even parts of the well, making the whole area look tacky.

The cave next to the Petrifying Well is indeed very small, which is why it is so impressive that Mother Shipton was born there and lived inside for two years.
The gift shop has a maximum capacity in order to keep everyone safe, which is why there is sometimes a queue to enter this area. We have a member of staff stood at the door reminding visitors to wear face coverings and sanitise their hands before entering. We hope you can understand that we are doing everything we can to make sure that the attraction is ‘Good to Go’.
We understand that the love locks some visitors leave as a memento of their visit are not everyone’s cup of tea, and that when they are placed in these areas of historic significance, that they may be seen as detracting from the experience. However, we have other visitors who love these locks and come back to see their token. We have plans to create a love lock area where visitors can leave their locks, in a special place separate to the Petrifying Well and Cave.
Kind Regards,
Mother Shipton’s.

Was really disappointed with this place, I expected a bigger cave, not a hole only big enough for 3 people!!
The petrified well and the story of Mother Shipton was interesting though.
If it weren’t for the fact we queued for 30minutes for the small gift shop (due to social distancing) we would’ve been in and out within half hour
Museum were small with a couple of wax works and some petrified items
Paid £30 a car plus booking fee so for two adults I thought that was expensive.
There is a playground and fairy garden for children

To contrast your negative review, we were ranked #2 by the Metro and The Daily Mail in their ‘Ten great days out to have around the UK this summer’.
The cave might be small, but that is what makes it incredible for a young girl to have given birth during a thunderstorm and lived there with her child for two years. It might be cramped for space – just imagine trying to sleep in there!
The gift shop has a maximum capacity in order to keep everyone safe, which is why there is sometimes a queue to enter this area. We have a member of staff stood at the door reminding visitors to wear face coverings and sanitise their hands before entering. The petrified items that you saw on display were items donated by celebrities, including Queen Mary’s petrified shoe, and Bobby Davro’s petrified sock! We will be refurbishing and refreshing the museum and gift shop when we close for the season this year.
At the moment we are charging per car rather than per person due to the current situation, this is a temporary booking system for the Summer to make it easier for us to control timings and visitors coming in and out of the attraction at this difficult time. We understand that this works out better for larger families than for couples, but hope that you can understand, after seeing the beautifully kept woodland walk, that we reinvest back into the park to protect England’s Oldest Tourist Attraction for future generations to come.
Kind Regards,
Mother Shipton’s.

It was really difficult to rate our visit if I’m completely honest.
We went as a family of 3, with a 5 year old and paid £30 for the vehicle entry ticket.
Luckily for us, there was an Alice in Wonderland theme which thoroughly entertained my step daughter. We actually spent most of our time there and in the play area which speaks volumes when the attraction is called ‘Mother Shipton’s Cave’.
Our slot was 10-12.30, however we arrived at 10.30 and left at 12.15. The attraction is clearly well looked after and maintained to a high standard with safe footpaths and walk ways.
The coffee/ice cream food trucks were lovely, although 2 coffee’s, 1 hot chocolate and 2 ice creams cost near £20.
We loved the AiW theme; it was obvious a lot of time and effort had been put into creating the scenes.
We felt a tad let down by the cave unfortunately. We had massively built up the suspense for my step daughter all the way around reading the story, down the stairs, to the petrifying well, made a wish and then got to the cave and it was….. absolutely tiny! It resembled a small hole/area in a rock face more than a ‘cave’ which felt like a tight squeeze with anymore than two people inside. We stood in the entrance and my partner said ‘is this it?’ Baffled, expecting to be able to walk through it.
Mostly, the reason for the 3 stars is the cost. I honestly don’t believe £30 is warranted. I think £5 (or £7 at a push) per person is sufficient. If filling a car with 5 people, then yes £30 is okay. But for a family of 3 to pay £10 each to then only spend 1.45hr inside, mostly in the play area, sadly we left feeling slightly robbed.
It’s a shame as we did enjoy it, but just not at the price it came. We would of happily paid £20. I wish I’d read the reviews beforehand.
*The picture below is of the wishing well behind the petrifying well. The cave in comparison is probably 2/3 times the size.*

We are pleased to read that you and your family enjoyed the adventure playground and our themed adventure trail. We put on different themed events for each of the school holidays, including Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas.
It’s good to know that you can appreciate the hard work that goes into the attraction and that you noticed how well looked after this ancient site is, as well as how much time and effort that goes into curating our themed event displays. We are a privately owned attraction, and all admission fees go back into protecting this ancient attraction for future generations to enjoy. Our admission fees are within market rates and we hope that you can understand how much work such a site requires to be safe, clean and running smoothly.
The cave is small, it is not advertised as an underground cave network. The significance of this small cave is that it is the birthplace of the Yorkshire Prophetess Mother Shipton! Can you imagine giving birth inside this cave, then living there with the baby for 2 years? The name of the attraction is ‘Mother Shipton’s Cave’, but the main attraction is the Petrifying Well, which has been on show to visitors since 1630.
We hope your wishes come true!
Kind Regards,
Mother Shipton’s.

Although living locally it’s been many years since we visited, and we were delighted to show our grandchildren a high quality, good value, homegrown experience. The Petrifying Well itself always attracts amazement whilst the actual cave was well presented and just the right amount of scary!. The children’s play area was first class as were the various “Madhatter’s Tea Party” exhibits which were well made and a credit to the design team.
It was such a lovely change to see our beautiful town from the “other” bank of the river.
Easy to book, excellent staff and a great morning
Thank You Mother Shipton’s

We are delighted that you and your family had such a wonderful time visiting us!
The incredible Petrifying Well has been attracting amazement since 1630, so it’s good to know that it’s still doing the trick after all these years! It’s fantastic that we can continue to protect and preserve the history for future generations to enjoy.
It’s brilliant to hear that you thought the adventure playground was first class and that you enjoyed our Mad Hatter’s trail too. We hope you’ll be back over this side of the river again, and we think your grandchildren would really enjoy our other events too! Next up is ‘Alice’s Enchanted Wonderland’, followed by Halloween and our popular Christmas Experience.
Kind Regards,
Mother Shipton’s.

As a couple, made sense for us to park in Knaresborough which was £1.60 for 4 hours. make the pleasant 10 minute walk to the entrance and pay to go in as pedestrians at £11. We still saved money as we'd have been charged £30 odd quid to take the car into the attraction plus we would not be allowed to leave the car there whilst we walked into town after our visit had ended.
This is a beautiful attraction and would be great for younger kids. A pleasant and mystical walk along the side of the River Nidd with information boards along the way and ending in a small gift shop and museum at the end where you head back again the way you came. Takes about an hour / hour and a half if you take it steady.
One of the real highlights was at the petrifying well where we turned our back on it to look up the River and we could see many Kingfishers darting from one side to the other. A natural treat that most others didn't notice as they were so tied up with the attraction.
Wouldn't visit again as we feel that it is one of those places where if you've done it and seen it once then there isn't much to gain from returning. Although that is just our view. I would definitely recommend you visit at least once though if in the area.
The only negative to the visit was they are another business in an increasingly long line who have denounced the legal tender of the state. Cash no longer can be used within the attraction as it is now card payments only.
Not only is this potentially unlawful but it is also potentially discriminatory to refuse payments by cash and the sooner someone launches a ground-breaking legal challenge to put these businesses back in their place the better.
There are a plethora of reasons why a person may not be able to pay with a card or prefers to pay by cash and this should be respected otherwise if anyone with a protected characteristic puts in a legal challenge to claim that they are being discriminated against because they can't pay by card, these businesses will be made to pay the price for discrimination.
Just a thought. Making people pay by card is not easy for everyone. It may be easier for the business but it should be about what is best and easiest for the customer.

Pre-booked tickets that morning as a last minute decision to travel via train from York to make the day more exciting. Prices were quite reasonable I thought. Under 3s frees .
From the moment we arrived the excitement began ,by the lady in the ticket office issuing everyone with their very own wristband which is always a bonus!!! There is a longish walk for little leg , elderly legs to arrive at the main attraction point. There's plenty of seating as well as tons to look at , and have photo opportunities. The mini selfie stands are a great touch and used often . The children and adults loved looking for the answers on our Easter quiz sheets . This was an added bonus for us as it really did keep them looking and enjoying all that was on offer . The huge adventure playground is a beautiful space for all ages and we'll spread out so doesn't feel overcrowding and you can still find your little ones . They have these very cute wooden picnic huts with roofs which you can eat your own food or food from the two onsite pop up trucks . They all had individual names which was a nice touch. We spent nearly 2 hours here but unfortunately we had to cut it short as our children 3 &5 needed the toilet ( and I too be honest) and the main toilets are all the way back near the entrance. A good 10 mins walk with little legs . They did have 3 portaloos ( male, female and disabled) but the queue was very long and they didn't look inviting. I'm sure from the amount of people I saw , elderly, pregnant ladies, toddlers and disabled , we can't be the only people who were frustrated with the toilet situation.
We had a great time and you can see alot of time and effort has gone into creating this Easter event. You do get value for your money here. Just please more toliets 🙏

Thank you for your brilliant review of Mother Shipton’s. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit and found it to be good value for money. It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the Easter trail, selfie stands, photo opportunities and thought there was lots to look at. We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the beautiful space in our adventure playground too. It’s also lovely that you appreciated the effort we put in to the little details of our Easter decorations such as the individual names on our picnic huts! With regards to your feedback about our toilets, we are just as frustrated with this situation and are currently working to improve it.
Kind regards, Mother Shipton’s

So this was our first time going to Mother Shiptons Cave. We paid £30 for entry and £1 for the guidebook. The area and walk is stunning, beside the river it really is a lovely setting, plenty of places to eat a picnic. The Cave, wishing well and petrifying wall are also nice to look at and something different. However....my critism, we walked the full length of the park which probably took 30-45 mins in total, as we got to the end we was looking forward to seeing the gift shop and museum, which unfortunately both were closed (we hadn't been informed of this). My husband queued for half an hour to get 4 drinks which were also very over priced (we had left the kids drinks in the car, we won't make that mistake again). The Easter trial was nice for the kids to look at and get involved with and the park was really big and the kids loved it. Overall it was a great day and my two age 6 and 8 did enjoy it. Personally I wouldn't return again but I would definitely return to the area as its beautiful with lots of gorgeous scenery. I think it might be better to visit the area, park up and pay the walkthrough price so then your not limited on time and can really make use of the full day and surrounding areas.

Thank you for contacting Mother Shipton’s.
We are happy to read that you found the incredible Petrifying Well and the Cave where Mother Shipton was born lovely to see. This unique attraction, which has been open since 1630, certainly is something different! The walk through the park contains one of the few remaining remnants of the Ancient Royal Forest of Knaresborough, and there are stunning views of the River Nidd and castle. It’s also great that your children enjoyed playing in our popular adventure playground.
Until the 12th of April, non-essential retail is not allowed to be open, which is why our Museum and Gift Shop was not open at the time of your visit. It is against the law for shops to be open that are not classed as essential retail at this time. It is stated on our website that the Museum and Gift Shop is subject to these restrictions and will reopen when the rules allow again. In the meantime, we have the option of purchasing some of our most popular retail items online to collect when you arrive at the main entrance, such as Petrified Teddy Bear, a bottle of Wishing Well Water, a Prophecy Book or a Guide Book. We also sell items at our Coffee and Ice Cream Van, including beautiful Easter decorations and Mother Shipton magnets. We are looking forward to having our Museum and Gift Shop back open again, but we also appreciate that these government rules are put in place to protect us all at this tricky time. We hope you can appreciate that too.
At peak times such as lunch time there can be a small queue for drinks, but our staff will serve you with a smile as soon as they can. You could always explore another area of the attraction first, then come back once the queue has dispersed. Our coffee is made using real ground beans, not instant, so we can assure you that it’s all about the quality.
We are a privately owned attraction and do not receive any funding, grants or subsidies. All admission fees go back into running and protecting the attraction for future generations to enjoy. The £30 Car Admission covers up to five people visiting the attraction, so for the four people in your group it works out at £7.50 per person. There’s always different things to see at Mother Shipton’s as we are continually investing back into the attraction for future generations to come. We have different events for the school holidays, and many families return year after year to see these events and how the park changes in the different seasons.
Kind Regards,
Mother Shipton’s.

Visited today. Absolutly loved it.
The women on the front desk drive through window was awesome to deal with and the whole experience and stories behind the place were fascinating.
There is something for everyone and my family all had fun. We were a group of 2 adults and 5,8 and 9 year old girls.
The park is well equipment for kids and includes a zip line and lots of play equipment.
The cave at the end, the wishing well and petrified wall are all awesome little areas to look at, and the entire place as a whole is beautiful. So may photo opportunities to be had.
We didn't want to leave the area. Sadly, we didn't go to the gift shop as the queue was far to slow moving but the people walking about with gifts seemed very happy with their purchases.

Thank you for contacting Mother Shipton’s.
We are delighted to hear about your awesome trip to Mother Shipton’s! The story of Mother Shipton and the science behind the incredible geological phenomenon of the Petrifying Well truly is fascinating and we are so pleased that you all enjoyed your visit.
We will pass on your feedback about the excellent customer service you received from the lady on the ticket booth at the main entrance. We hope that the children had fun in the adventure playground and the Pixie Village trail. We think you might also enjoy returning for our Halloween spooktacular trail through the woodland!
The gift shop has a maximum capacity in order to keep everyone safe. We have a member of staff stood at the door reminding visitors to wear face coverings and sanitise their hands before entering. We are sorry to hear that you decided not to visit the museum and gift shop this time but hope you get chance during your next visit.
Kind Regards,
Mother Shipton’s.

Does anyone know of a car park within walking distance to the cave? Don't fancy paying £30....

A huge car park just over the road if you want to walk in.

Most of the site is okay but there are some steps along the route and the cave itself is not going to be accessible for a pram.
Written 3 August 2019
There are a number of connections from harrogate that stop directly outside the cave.
