This is Britain's oldest working theatre in its original form, and we felt privileged to tour this wonderful old theatre. Gerry was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide and we got a real feel for theatre life in the 1700s. Highly recommended.

Lin gave us an interesting and comprehensive tour of the theatre, its seating, stage, back stage and under stage. This included an informative history of the building and the theatre business in England from Georgian times. An excellent experience, thank you!

We didn't know what to expect but Angela gave us such a wonderful tour, that we've already booked for the pantomime in December! The building is stunning with incredible history. It's a must see, especially for theatre buffs. We felt guilty only pay £4 entry!
