There's a small charge of £1 for adults or £2.50 for a family but it's worth this charge as it's a lovely space. There's interesting information and interactive displays for children. The staff fed the creatures in the tank and talked us through what the creatures such as crabs, prawns and fish would do. It was fascinating to watch and to hear from the staff who obviously are passionate about what they do.

A lovely lady helped us spot and identify the marine life in the mesmerising tank. The exhibits around the perimeter were very interesting and the information was very clear and easy to digest.

An interesting insight into how fossils are made, different sorts and where to find them. Plus other interesting facts! Some hands on interaction for children too. There was also a craft fair on when we were there.
