This was our first visit to Boughton House which, contrary to logic, is not in Boughton village but quite some distance away! I had planned our approach using Google Maps but this went a bit awry as my proposed entrance - off the A4300 Stamford...More

Thank you very much for your comprehensive review. Our official signs do point visitors via Geddington, unfortunately sat navs (and Google maps despite our trying to put them straight)can send you to the wrong (private) entrance as the same postcode covers the whole park. Photography...More

We spent a couple of hours looking at the house via a tour and wandering in the gardens which are lovely. Tour is rather packed with information and it would be useful to have a (laminated temporary loan) sheet with the family tree outlining the...More

This is a splendid house to visit and the grounds are truly magnificent. I visited ysterday with our local history group. We had an amazingly knowledgeable guide who was keen to point out many fine details. The one drawback, however, was the lack of heating....More

Gorgeous mansion house , with great landscape views that stretch as far as the eye see. Perfect for family visits or solo. Could spend hours looking through the house and gardens easily.
