Boughton House offers a part of history at your hand. Nice gardens to walk about whether winter or summer. Currently very festive market stands filling this place. Great atmoshpere.

The situation and gardens are delightful. The house itself is special becase the family still live there therefore it is less like a museum. the uncomleted wing is fascinating. CAFE V. GOOD, TOO.

we went here for an afternoon in july. The house only opens a few days a year to visitors. It was pricey compared to national trust/heritage properties, but its imposing and impressive from the road so we thought wed make the trip in. Once through...More
