- fork_handlesLuton, United Kingdom2,104 contributionsSmart out-of-town outlet centre.Good selection of shops, certainly something for everyone. Plenty of benches too, in case you want to sit down. There's also a good number of food outlets, serving everything from a full meal to just a coffee. It's all very smart and still pretty new, so hopefully will have the upkeep in coming years. The only issues for us during our visit was that the car park was nearly full when we arrived and also when driving out of the car park when there were a lot of people around, they just didn't stop at the pedestrian crossing, so the traffic was stacking back into the car park, causing gridlock. Really need some pedestrian lights to stop people continually walking across and allowing cars to flow better as they exit and leave. Would certainly return here, a smart out of town outlet centre.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 April 2024
- Shauna CMount Pearl, Canada214 contributionsFantastic setupWe visited here as two families on our holidays. Many middle class shops here - Next, JD Sports, Primark, Marks and Spencer and smaller shops like Assessorize that my teenagers loved. There’s a cinema and a crazy golf aka mini golf course. A handful of decent restaurants and a lake to walk around as well if you would like a little break. This was a great place for our family - we enjoyed the mini golf.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 13 August 2024
- Don J7 contributionsGreat shoppingAside from the lack of parking, the shopping centre is excellent. The area is tidy, the lake view and walk is great, and the shop selection is brilliant. Magazine heaven is a gem and the new rituals shop is excellent additionVisited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 September 2024

We were visiting from outside the country in a rental car. Spent 4 hours in 360, followed by Lunch and then some Shopping. Was there in total for 6 hour and 3 minutes - how do I know? I just received a GBP100 parking fine. As I am in a rental car, I am then charged a GBP42 administration fee.
What a total disappointment! GBP 142 for parking going 1 hour and 3 minutes over whilst spending a lot of money in 360, restaurants and shops! My son was so excited to go to 360, we didn't see any signposts warning us of this 5 hour limit.

Visited as we were in the area and had a lovely afternoon.
Despite it being a busy Saturday lunchtime, we were in and parked quickly, and exit the same...not the 45min queues I had read about in some reviews thankfully. Free parking too for up to 5hrs.
Love that it's all outside. I'm not keen on big indoor shopping malls so this layout was really nice to walk around and a great selection of useful shops/high street names.
Good food choices as well. We had a bite to eat and again no big queues or waiting which was a pleasant suprise.
Didn't venture into the cinema/soft play etc. But did have a walk by the lake which again was nice to be able to do as well as the shops.
Will definitely visit again.

It's a great place. As long as you avoid the busy times.
The walk round the lake is a different world from the shops With a great play area..
Before 11 30am after 3 30 pm at weekends is usually the time to visit for us locals.
Book a table when eating during the busy times.
After 5pm it's aj joy to visit in the week, most of the shops are open after 6pm.The eateries get busy after 6pm so book in advance.
Rushden Lakes is a joy just give it plenty of you time. Its worth it!

Rushden lakes is a super place to go, loads of lovely high street shops to visit, good social distancing rules as well whilst the pandemic is going on. But...
the trip to Costa inside Next, was horrific. The tables were dirty and not cleared, the tea cup was filthy and the milk jug was chipped. Also, there was a sign that said “not in use” above a seating area, yet a family of 12 were sat there with their children running around. When they left, the mess was atrocious. The staff were so oblivious that the couple who sat there next had to tidy up that families mess themselves.
Wont be visiting that costa again, other than that the rest of Rushden Lakes is a great place to visit and would recommend any other shop :)

Cineworld Rushden Lakes is my closest cinema. The tickets are eye-wateringly expensive, so a visit to the (even dearer) Imax is a once a year, special film, sort of treat. Sadly, what the ticket does not include, is any hope of getting a parking space. To go on a Saturday afternoon is to risk missing the film. It took us 40 minutes to find a car leaving that did not already have another car waiting. Our eleventh hour success was only thanks to some nice ladies who indicated to us where their car was as they walked towards it.
Clearly, when this facility was planned, no one gave any thought at all to the fact that a 14 screen cinema would need substanstial parking. There's no system in place to give any kind of priority to those with cinema tickets. I was close to leaving my friend in the gridlock to go and try to get our money back.
Don't go near Rushden Lakes on a summer weekend afternoon for any reason. You just don't need that much stress in your life.

Been a few times to the lakes and i would say its a nice place overall. Boating lake area is really nice could be a few more high street clothing stores dotted around.
If your planning in going for food or cinema and have booked the planning of the carparking will seriously let you down on arriving on time. Saturdays are awful one way in, one way out you can be stuck for hours. Possibly easier to park over the road at the supermarket and walk although its a trek.

Shops are fine, parking is atrocious. You can’t get in, there are not enough parking spaces and then getting out again is a disaster. You might as well bring a tent to camp as you can’t get home after shopping. Badly planned out for access off the A45 and access back onto it again. Definitely not a place to come if you are short of time. If you like wasting your life and petrol in queues this is the place to come - nightmare!

Had booked to go to Cineworld. Despite arriving 10mins before the film start time we had to abort trying to find a parking space and leave after 30 minute of gridlocked traffic!!
What a terrible place! Why build with so few parking spaces. Very disappointed, hopefully we get a refund or new tickets from Cineworld but this isn’t their problem as much as how the site is managed!!

Parking is dreadful. Saturday afternoon 2.15pm the place was gridlocked. No parking spaces available. Can’t comment on the shops, wasn’t able to park the car, took 35 minutes queuing in traffic to get out of the place. Won’t be going back on a weekend and probably won’t bother to try again

Hello, Thank you for your feedback regarding parking and sorry to hear you weren't able to park. Saturday is our peak day with afternoons being our peak time. We do advise visitors that our quieter times are early morning and evening. Please also be aware that you can drive down our service road if you would like to reach the end of the site (towards Cineworld) quicker.
Kind Regards, Rushden Lakes Team

Don't appreciate their staff at all. Dishing out parking tickets for their staff without a second thought. Staff car park always filled to the brim and the staff remaining are either forced to park in the customer car park or in the garage next door which takes an extra 20 minutes to get to if you're coming from Bedford. An absolute joke. I lost 2 days worth of wages to pay for my ticket when I had no choice but to park in the customer car park to work my shift. Not a me problem at all. Needs to be fixed please.

Short notice on question but thought I’d ask on the off chance! Just seen you can only park for 5 hours. Anyone know of anywhere else you can park and then walk in at all? Thanks
Written 6 August 2018
You could park in higham or rushden and get the bus - it’s a very regular and reliable service and then you won’t need to think about parking - google the bus time table and park somewhere near the bus stop in an unrestricted area.... otherwise park in hayway in rushden / see google maps and walk down - be a 10 minute walk max

I spent over 7 hours shopping with my daughter in Rushden lakes, getting clothing and other items that she needed for university. We visited 2 of the restaurants and had a really lovely day. It wasn't until I was complaining about the amount of time we had been there to an assistant when she told me about the parking rules. I can't believe that the shops would want to loose our business, I have receipts for the whole day. Is there anything I can do about this? Thanks for your time

You can just go to the customer services and tell them you need longer, they take your registration number so you don’t get fined.

If the Road and parking system isn't greatly improved soon retailers WILL lose business! everyone in my family and friends group all agree... weekend shoppers will start to avoid Rushden Lakes! the planning is awful! and delays caused at the A45 roundabout is certain to lead to accidents and road rage! as a local I have already seen a lot of this. It should have been foreseen at the planning stage! ...but needs sorting very quickly before shoppers dwindle.

Thank God there are none. No incentive for idiots with jcbs to ram raid them or beggars to camp near them and saves on receipts being littered all over the place as we head for cashless Utopia

why ask reviewers on TripAdvisor why the designers/builders haven't put cash machines in?
Written 30 October 2017
To walk round the Lakes yes but not in the shops unless a guide dog. You can probably sit outside coffee shops with them. I think I saw a notice saying dogs may bring their well behaved or polite owners! And that there were dog water bowls around.
