We've been going to Darlington's on a regular bases for about 3 years now - Normally once, maybe twice a month. I was diagnosed with being Coeliac (Unable to eat gluten, wheat, barley etc.) at about that time. At that time it was virtually impossible...More

A collection of various outlets, mostly gifts, collectables and scented candles. There is a cafe which was pleasant but overpriced on soft drinks. I felt that this place needed a real local "HEART" such as a farm shop, butcher, baker or greengrocer. There was little local produce in...More

Visited the Heart of the Shires tearooms with a friend for lunch. Was very impressed with the building, the service, the friendly atmosphere. The lunch was fresh and well presented. Would highly recommend a visit.

Signs on the canal promised provisions but there were none to be found. Absolutely Fabulous for brides to be and ladies who lunch. No provisions, not worth mooring for and walking to.

Nice to see interesting shops you won't find on the high street. Huge kitchenware shop, nice interiors and different clothes. Where else would you find a shop dedicated to pet hampers! Worth a look if you are passing.

Firstly - this is not a shopping mall! this is an old-fashioned collection of craft and other small shops where you can while away a couple of hours wandering and stopping for the odd cuppa. Massive cook shop that goes on for ever, very nice...More
