Lovely cascade water fall like Chatsworth, but has pumps with water display now and then. A lovely rill flows also from the top and there is a lot of trees to that have blossom to see. There is a poison garden there, but that is...More

What a wonderful place. We started by doing the poison garden tour which was brilliant, the tour guide really made it with interesting facts and stories. The rest of the garden is beautiful - we really enjoyed our day there.

The gardens are most definitely the best part of the castle, so much splendour and beauty, with amazing water features and fountains. Skip the castle which is not worth the money and stick with gardens.

The lower level of the gardens, apart from the poison garden (restricted entry!), is really targeted at the children with ride on toys and lots of water features to enjoy. The real challenge is to avoid getting wet whilst trapped inside a fountain. The spectacular...More

As usual the gardens and fountains are beautiful especially with the sun on them, the flower gardens are lacking in colour at this time of the year. We were fortunate to see and hear an African school choir give an ad hoc performance of song...More
