The best pub in Ashington without a shadow of a doubt. The staff are amazing, especially the senior head barman, very friendly and charismatic. I would recommend The Block and Tackle to anyone, for both food and drink. Great atmosphere and superb surroundings.

A lovely friendly family pub very well situated near a large housing development. Friendly staff, good service, constantly trying new ideas, bands, quiz etc... Menu from the brewery is basic pub food done well.
