A very good beach that is clean and never crowded with great views of the castle. It is a great place to walk the dog and has access to the coastal path.

A lovely sandy beach for a stroll with great views of Bamburgh Castle and across to the Holy Island. Dog friendly and very clean and not crowded. One of the nicest beaches in the UK.

Walked on this beach in both directions. Great views across the landscape and good access to the coastal path if required.

Did a leisurely walked from Seahouses to St Aidens beach. A good walk with the castle slowly coming into view. Magnificent and well worth the trek. Obviously check the tides first and reward your self with a bus journey back. The views of the castle...More

This is “Sand Heaven!” yelled our 7-year-old grandson as he continued digging enthusiastically into the soft, clean sand. Difficult to disagree, really, and the sea was very tempting too, though a little too cold for anything more than a cautious paddle. The August weather wasn’t...More

One of the nicest beaches I've been to, miles of clean sand and clean water with breathtaking views of the castle in the backdrop. Fantasic place to spend the day with the kids building sandcastles, flying kites or going for a dip in the sea....More

Lovely beach that is very clean and quiet. Lots of space. There are rock pools, sand galore and dunes to play on. A great spot.

I did not see any evidence of BBQ. I would consult Northumberland Council to get an opinion.

Hi Michael The access to the beach is not good for a wheelchair. There is a boardwalk for part of the way from the green but petters out once you reach the dunes. Hope you enjoy your visit and your son does too.
