My wife and I walked a stretch of this great beach yesterday, and even though the weather was not particularly kind, overcast and windy, it was still a fantastic site. Endless golden sand with the sea sort of crashing in........ wonderful.

Fabulous sandy beach with views of Bamburgh castle & out to sea. Stretches to seahouses so a nice long walk on a beach that is so clean. Dog friendly too.

I did not see any evidence of BBQ. I would consult Northumberland Council to get an opinion.

Hi Michael The access to the beach is not good for a wheelchair. There is a boardwalk for part of the way from the green but petters out once you reach the dunes. Hope you enjoy your visit and your son does too.
