We visited the farm on a rainy day. Not sure what to expect but great little place. My girls looked around the little museum and found it very interesting. The lady who was sat decorating candles was very friendly and knowledgeable. The girls loved the live bees in the see through hive. We had our lunch on the double decker... More

We really enjoyed learning about the bees and chatting to the helpful staff. We also bought some delicious honey and would recommend a visit.

Interesting visit, lots to learn about bees. However, main point of visit was to get our hands on some of their delicious honey. Mission accomplished.

We really enjoyed our visit here in the winter season and will definitely return in the summer when the cafe is open. The shop and visitors centre is highly informative and the staff really helpful and willing to spend time explaining any aspect of the centre and its work with keeping bees and making honey. There are some excellent displays... More

I like the double decker bus café and all the vehicles at the back. The chain bridge offers wonderful views of the river and the sheep walk is worth touring. The old items museum is curious and so are the farming vehicles at the back field. You must the beeswax gifts and the bees inn the glass cage.

Willie Robson and his family have many interests - mechanical and bee keeping. My granddaughters loved their first visit - and they will be very happy to visit again

I have lost count of the number of times we have visited the Chain Bridge Honey Farm. We usually go a couple of times a year and go into the museum and find out more about the honey bees (excellent for children) We then go for our lunch in the bus (down side not good for wheelchair access and cramped... My wife fancied visiting here, and on arrival i was pleasantly surprised by the old vehicles being stored. There is also a "museum" of local artifacts and memorabilia. The place seems to be going through a regeneration at the moment, which can't be cheap or easy, however the most underwhelming part was the bee and honey story/museum. It reminded me... More

The bus cafe was a huge hit with my kids - the homemade soup and cakes a huge hit with us all. Really interesting to see all the old farm vehicles and antiques. Kids enjoyed watching the bees and learning about honey! All in all a lovely half day visit and again the soup... awesome!

We visited purely to buy some heather honey from the shop. However we did climb aboard the double decker bus for a coffee and cake, This is most unusual. Service and food good. The shop is well stocked with honey and its buy products, all at reasonable prices. The farm also has a large stock of vintage? lorries and buses, for... More
