In addition to the main bar there is a comfortable lounge to one side, decorated with old travel posters. A very wide choice of real ales, including dark beers. Staff helpful and knowledgeable.

We stopped here whilst exploring Berwick with our dog. We were made very welcome and water was brought for the dog. Good selection of beers and I had a lovely cider. The decor is interesting and a good conversation point.

They have a telly but it is rarely on. They usually show rugby 6 nations and not much else.
