It was small and not a lot to offer although the pie stall seemed very popular, Morpeth however was excellent,well worth a visit and good base

Went for a lovely lunch in Wetherspoons. Then a,quick trip around the Market led to a tasty Sunday lunch. Picking up some fresh Venison and home made Mushroom sauce. Lovely cut of meat which went wonderfully with the sauce to which i added fresh mushrooms....More

It's a market on the small square at the centre of Morphet. It's not so busy when we were there. It's a local market.

Morpeth Market is held on Wednesday at the square opposite the Town Hall. There are a variety of stalls; fresh breads, cheeses, plants etc to name but a few. There is a stall where you can have watch batteries replaced and keys cut too. It's...More

Morpeth is one of the oldest markets in Northumberland and is still going strong. A pleasant place to meet your friends and shop with local traders.

Every Wednesday (except Christmas day and New Year's day) 9-3.30 pm and the farmers' market is on the 1st Saturday of the month 9-3.00 pm.
