Sunday Mass!
Dec 2018 • Couples
If you are a catholic I'm very sure you would very much enjoy attending Mass at this church in the centre of Morpeth!

Hidden heritage
Oct 2018 • Friends
Lot's of hidden heritage in this fine building. War memorial, stained glass windows, hand painted stations of the cross. Quiet escape in a busy market town.

What the Heritage Lottery Fund did for us
Oct 2017 • Solo
As people experience when they come to the church, it has a rich story. The heritage was protected recently by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The grant allowed us to reroof the building and make some essential repairs to the masonry. The church is a grade II* listed building. It sits in the grounds of what was Admiral Collingwoods home. Collingwood being the Admiral who won at Trafalgar after Nelsons early death in the battle.

Gem Church
Aug 2016 • Solo
This is a Grade 2* listed building with some interesting features. It has William Wailes windows which are very noteworthy and some statues of the Apostles that were imported from Switzerland in the 1880s.
It is peaceful place.

Beautiful church
Jul 2016 • Couples
Popped into see what the church was like and was so surprised as it was light and airy and peaceful. There was no service going on but we asked if the church was open and were told where the lights switches were and to go on in and enjoy the experience.

Light filled grand church
Feb 2016 • Couples
We visited early on a bright sunny morning, seeing this lovely Catholic church at its best and empty other than ourselves.

The view along the aisle is impressive, taking the eye to the light infused altar area. There are numerous recessed stained glass windows resulting in enchanting lighting effects throughout.

The stations of the cross are colourful and impressive. A number of fine holy statues adorn the space. The grand organ at the back leads one to imagining the fine music that can accompany the religious ceremonies.
