Despite not being able to get into the house (COVID), I enjoyed visiting this property especially on a bright sunny day. The walk through the woods and the Walled Gardens are definitely worth seeing and the house exterior and grounds look great. The site was well run and had accommodated the requirements to open working through the pandemic.

This was our 4th visit during these Covid restrictions. Every visit has opened new paths & different walks around these magnificent grounds. Also a visit to the Hall. The staff have done an amazing job keeping these grounds looking so good. Especially the walled garden. You should all be very proud providing such a wonderful experience to so many in these difficult months. The measures put in place make you feel safe from the staff monitoring the numbers using the loos, (very clean & well stocked with soap paper towels etc) and the takeaway cafe and the one way system round the walled garden. Everyone of them are cheerful & helpful. There are plenty of outdoor seats to enjoy your takeaway lunch or picnic. Yes even in the sunshine in November in Northumberland! Definitely worth a visit.

It was our first visit to Wallington and we were not disappointed. The grounds are extensive with a number of different walks, with the autumn colours just starting. The walled garden was also wonderful and far bigger than we expected. We’ll definitely visit again. Had lunch in the cafe and the cauliflower curry pasty was superb!

What a delight this house turned out to be. Covid meant the usual restrictions but still able to see the wonderful dolls house collection and the smallest Battle of Waterloo reinactment. The delights don't stop at the house but continue with the extensive gardens especially the walled garden.

We had not booked to visit as we were not sure of our plans for the day. However, as we had to drive past we stopped off to see if they might let us in. Whilst we were reminded that we had to book at least a day before, as the were not too busy they let us in. The house was closed so we could only visit the garden; however, this occupied a pleasant hour or so.
