Always go here fantastic, bike for hours on this beach, easy to park. Very clean, vast expanse of firm sand. My favourite beach in England, a true gem. Also great cafe

We had coffee, walked along the beach for a good while and it is stunning. We then asked for information on a good local pub from staff and were given good friendly information and directions.

Huge, beautiful and clean sandy beach with sheltered spots provided by the dunes. Not the warmest waters if you fancy a dip but plenty get themselves in there. (Maniacs!)

Lovely walk around the lake or up to the beach road a visitors centre with little cafe and small shop. Great play area and plenty for the children to run or walk off some energy.

Lovely place to visit. The new park is exceptionally well built and accessible to all. Plenty of parking which is always a plus.

Not only can the dogs go on the beach, but if you’re lucky you’ll have miles of it all to yourself.

It’s a very popular open water swimming location. I haven’t observed divers, but can’t see why not! There is an information point in the at the toilets/cafe, staff there should be able to advise.
