    A steel at the price
What a brilliant morning out. The workshops and the displays were all amazing with so much to see. Plenty of places to rummage through to find interesting old and modern bits and pieces. Finished off after a good chilli for lunch with a walk around the sculpture park. Bought a handmade bird bath and a colourful garden pot both under half price.

exciting day out with my madge mobile
This our second visit in 7 days we enjoyed it so much. Came back today for more shopping and another lovely lunch sat amongst some awesome metal art works. Such an array of gifted pieces, so much to see and buy. The amenities are on point especially for welcoming folk with difficulties. The facilities so clean plenty of space for everyone. Thank you we will be back

    A great day out
Excellant day. The park is huge, a massive collection of great sculptures. Mainly metal sculptures of endangered animals. Lots of fun stuff too: dinosaurs, marvel characters, minions. Good shop and great cafe. Highly recommended.

    Amazing Day Out
Amazing day out. There is something here for everyone. The sculptures range from huge to tiny, science fiction to realistic - just great fun. My recommendation is to pay it a visit and try the cafe as well.

    Fabulous place
Love this place! Gorgeous breakfast in a fantastic setting. We hadn’t expected it to be a full day out. Loved it that much took out annual membership. Can’t wait to go back.

A great place to visit rain or shine
Even though it was a rainy day, we found plenty to occupy us for a good 2 hours! The spacious café is really nice with comfortable seating, a great cup of tea (very important!) & delicious cakes. The shop has many beautiful items to buy & is just like an art gallery! We ventured out for a rainy walk around the many awesome sculptures - you can do long or short walks as there are various circuits to choose from. Even though it was very busy, there is plenty of space to accommodate everyone! We will definitely go back again & again.

    Fascinating Place to Visit
Fantastic day out - so many sculptures to see in the grounds it can easy take up the full day. The accompanying information on the endangered animals that they represent is insightful and also sobering. The cafe food was really good. Could easily spend a fortune in the shop too. Staff were really helpful answering questions and providing a wealth of information. Looking forward to going again.

    Local Treasure
Having moved to the area fairly recently, we didn't realise we had such a treasure on our doorstep! We went on a rainy day, but there was plenty to see indoors until the rain stopped. Once outside we saw the amazing variety of sculptures around the park. Lots of information on each provided in the extinction zone. Having worked for a disability charity, I was impressed with the option to hire a golf buggy to provide accessibility and inclusion for everyone.

    Good family day out.
Very large site with themed areas even on bank holidays it never feels crowded, dog friendly. The cafe/ shop gets busy but has an outside area too. Enthusiastic, helpful staff also has a few small shops on site.

    Absolutely Amazing
Oh my word. Where do I begin. I'd Never heard of the place before. But it was well worth the visit. I would've explored the grounds more. However I forgot to take the battery for my scooter. The place is Amazing with some fabulous artwork. I'll definitely be going back again. Every animal you could think of was there. I've Never seen so much metal artwork in one place as here. I promise you Won't be disappointed if you go for a visit. I became a member today and glad I did. As next time I'll be able to explore more.

Really worth a visit. The sculptures are great and there are loads to walk round and look at. The gift shop is lovely and reasonably priced. There is a really nice cafe, we didn't have the afternoon tea but were told its fantastic.

Absolutely amazing day out. I'm astonished have they create such amazing statue, pieces of art. Great fun for the kids. My little boy loved the animals and transformers! The tea rooms are fantastic and the cakes are a must try! You will struggle to pick which one though as the choice is fab! Its a must do day out!

I am a teacher at Whittington CE (VA) Primary school and we absolutely love The British Ironworks. They offer FREE school trips which we have done many times and they also loan sculptures to schools to collect items. We previously have had a giraffe which we filled with milk tops and now we are having a dolphin to fill with crisp packets. These projects are fantastic for raising awareness of environmental issues and as a school such a valuable resource to have on our doorstep. It is just awesome!

We called the Iron works to see if they would support with our raffle for an upcoming show as all proceeds for the raffle goes towards a new heating system. We spoke to a lovely lady Rosie who was more than willing to support the cause, it was lovely to see a business supporting another business. Once again thank you for providing us with an amazing raffle prize. Thank you from all at Identity School of Dance.

Been on the waiting list for a while and wasn’t disappointed. The ironwork sculptures were amazing, there’s a fair few to view and walk around, the cafe was excellent and would say the scones are extremely hard to beat. Everyone makes you very welcome.

We booked here for my nans 90th Birthday treat after seeing their viral tik tok video afternoon tea.

It did not disappoint! Staff were amazing and super friendly. 100% Worth the 1.5 hour journey.

The sculptures will blow you away. The time & effort & craftsmanship that's gone into each and every one is amazing!
