The quality of the exhibits (and their display - with many suspended from the roof of the new hangar) is fantastic and surpassed my expectation. There is a very broad catalogue of exhibits from WW1 through the 2nd World War to the modern era. It...More

Visited as a birthday treat for the first time in about 7 years. Not surprisingly, there had been many changes. With only a couple of exceptions, the interior exhibits have been lovingly restored, and displayed to their best advantage. The exterior exhibits, unfortunately, have to...More

Enjoyed several hours wandering around the various hangers which house a wide variety of exhibits ,from the earliest days of the RAF, to more recent times. Plenty to interest children too.

We visited as a family as part of a weekend away. It was well worth the visit. Great exhibitions, fantastic to see so many modern and historic aircraft, with good explanations and plenty for kids (young and old) to do.

It was arguably one of the best museums i’ve Ever experienced . Besides being for free, it was interactive for all ages. It’s easy to get to by public transport and there are 6 hangers of massive sized aircraft. Enough to keep one busy ,...More

The site is all on one level except in the Cold War museum building where there is a lift. The disabled car parking spaces are very close to the entrance. £3 for 3 hours £4 for all day parking
