Cute little place

Lovely little place and views from the top. Hill too small for my liking but nice to see something new.

Beautiful spot, beautiful views but the path was very muddy and slippy and walking up the grass wasn't much better - do be careful!

A gentle hill walk gets you to this wonderful old ruin. Look through every window to see Somerset sweeping around your feet. Free parking nearby ( a plus for a district/council that appears to overcharge for rural parking to walk headlands & hills) If walking care on roads is required as it's access is by narrow twisting roads without footpaths... Well we have been to Glastonbury Tor and as we only live about seven miles away from the Mump, my son & I took our little car out for a run. It's just a nice place to walk around, reflect on the History and take in the views! I've lived in this area for Twenty years now and driven past... More

A big green, grassy hill with the remains of an old building on top. From the top you can see across the levels. Car park just off the main road.

Burrow Mump gives a fantastic viewing point of the Somerset levels. Its shape is a complete contrast to the levels. Best times to visit are either early morning or evening to watch the sun rise or set.

This was featured on CountryFile when the floods took place - nice community and is a National Trust property.

Burrow Mump is a nice location to go and get so fresh air and see for miles around the location and to remove those Christmas Cobwebs before the onslaught of New Years Eve.

Burrow Mump is only a few miles from where I live, but you can see it from a long way off. Nice bit of history but you really must make the climb to the top, the views around the Somerset Levels are amazing, make sure to take your camera with you, though no photos really do the views that your...
