Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was really looking forward to going but was a little deflated to discover that what seemed like about a third of the machines were off (probably because they'd broken down).

Their Facebook page states the currently available games list, yet a few of these were nowhere in sight. Would be helpful if they could update the page more regularly to set people's expectations.

After the initial disappointment, we still enjoyed ourselves. The vibe of the place does remind me of a slightly raggedy arcade from the 80s (tape covering rips in the carpet etc).

Would recommend a visit, if you live fairly local. If you're travelling from further afield, you might be slightly disappointed that some of the games you expected to see aren't working or simply not there!

Had my daughter’s party at Timewarp and it was excellent! Spent two hours there but could easily spend all day! Great arcade games, consoles, pool and air hockey. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

My wife brought me for a surprise visit to Bridgewater yesterday as a Birthday treat (I collect retro videogames/consoles) andI have to admit it was an amazing experience.
First we visited Insane Games and while I did not buy anything, I found the prices asked for both old and new games was amazing, significantly lower thank asked in the likes of Game and Cex which are situated very close by.
But the fun did not end there. We passed through the shop (you can go around) and to a back street and entered a Utopia of retro heaven!
Time Warp is frankly the best arcade I have been in for about 2 decades! We paid a small fee for access to all the games on free play and enjoyed such classics as the original sit-in Star Wars cab, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, X-men, Outrunners, Pacman and countless others as well as a brilliant Aliens 2-player lightgun shooter which the wife and I enjoyed. They had even setup an Xbox with numerous compilation games loaded, DS's linked for Mario Kart, A Wii U also setup for 4 player Mario Kart 8 and a Gamecube for Super Smash Brothers!
Also there are snooker tables, air hockey, toilets, drinks machines, snacks and everything else you need to spend (as we did) hours enjoying the arcade.
I had a fantastic time, one of the best birthday surprises and will definitely return as soon as I can and this time will plunder the shop also :)
Thanks for setting the arcade up gents, we need far more places just like this all over the country!!

Retro games, decor and atmosphere.
Still seems like yesterday to me.
She thoughly enjoyed it.
A bit expensive I think though and would get more customers through the door if they were to lower it to a fiver per person instead of £6.50 but then I’m as retro as the games!

Went there for my stepsons 8th Birthday - all the kids loved it, but not only that the parents did too! Lots of amazing games- they even had consoles and sofas dotted around. They were so accommodating allowing us to take in our own cake and party food, even though they do sell crisps, choc and drinks! I urge you to visit - you will not regret it, you may even see us there as we’ll definitely be visiting again!

So much fun, real walk down memory lane! Such good value for money as the boy was amused for hours, and I realized how old I'm getting!

Came Here With Partner On Sunday And Had A Sick Evening! Staff Are Nice, Decent Selection Of Games And Prices Are Super Low. I Honestly Wouldnt Complain If You Put Your Prices Up. Well Worth It. From Modern Games To The Proper Retro.
Pool, Air Hockey, Gaming Consoles And Arcade Machines.
You Could Be An Avid Gamer Or Not This Place Is For AnyOne. Most Enjoyed Testing Out A WiiU, Rinsing Alien Extermination And Enjoying Some Old School Mario, Pacman And Space Invaders. Good Atmosphere Too! Definitely Recommend.

if you're an 80's baby or a 90's kid you'll love the nostalgia. It's an excellent place to bring your kids, friends or even on your own. You pay an entrance fee and everything after that is free. There's refreshments available at a reasonable price and all the staff are friendly!! I miss places like these!!
