Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely brilliant! Me and husband spent about 4 hours in here playing pool, air hockey and enjoying all the machines.
So many games to choose from on the old machines but loved that they had all consoles upstairs, from PS4 to Nintendo 65 or Wii or Nintendo DS!
Staff are amazing and for the price £8 to stay as long as you like!
I think we will be coming back down just for this!

Great to see many working vintage machines. The upstairs console room is work in progress but still great. Lost 3.5hrs in there after initially thinking i’m be done in an hour…. Will definitely be returning. Metal slug 4, Ms Pac, Donkey Kong, Golden Eye, Raiden, Galaga, Street Fighter, Time Crisis, Mario Kart, Pacland, Mario, pool tables, air hockey and many more to choose from. Hats off to the people keeping the machines alive.

What an amazing afternoon of fun I had with my young nephew. He has grown up on 64 bits minimum so I wasnt sure how he would feel about the older games but the selection and variety has everyone covered. There were some games awaiting repair, but there were far more that were working. Theres also air hockey, pool, and upstairs a console room with just loads of different games available but with sofas! Good prices on drinks and snacks mean you dont do a fortune in extras and the fixed entrance fee covered everything. The staff were super friendly, the music was reminiscent of being in an old arcade, and the atmosphere was one of people just having fun. Sega Rally and Street Fighter II were my personal favourites but there was something for everyone including dance dance revolution.

Was really looking forward to going but was a little deflated to discover that what seemed like about a third of the machines were off (probably because they'd broken down).

Their Facebook page states the currently available games list, yet a few of these were nowhere in sight. Would be helpful if they could update the page more regularly to set people's expectations.

After the initial disappointment, we still enjoyed ourselves. The vibe of the place does remind me of a slightly raggedy arcade from the 80s (tape covering rips in the carpet etc).

Would recommend a visit, if you live fairly local. If you're travelling from further afield, you might be slightly disappointed that some of the games you expected to see aren't working or simply not there!

I took my 13 year old son here as he loves retro video games and this is a great place to try lots of different arcade games for 1 set price. It has the look of a slightly run down arcade from the 1980's, so already brought back lots of memories of such places. The staff are friendly, there are some light refreshments that can be purchased and some seating for when you need to re-charge. A large selection of games, the Star Wars 3D (Wireframe) was a particular favourite.

Overall a great place to waste a few hours, will be back.

Retro games, decor and atmosphere.
Still seems like yesterday to me.
She thoughly enjoyed it.
A bit expensive I think though and would get more customers through the door if they were to lower it to a fiver per person instead of £6.50 but then I’m as retro as the games!
