    Cosy cottage and wonderful riding!
My daughter and I had a wonderful short break staying in the Teddy house for a couple of nights. It was so cosy and warm with the real fire log burner. We had two long hacks out on the horses. It was such a great experience. The horses were very well looked after and really knew their jobs. We had a mixture of walk, trot canter and even a gallop! So much fun. The landscape and views were breathtakingly wild and beautiful. In between times we visited Dulverton which is a lovely village. We are definitely coming back to do the full safari ride! Thank you so much for a wonderful short break!

    Splendid ride 🤩
Absolutely amazing! Gorgeous place that it was situated. The stables were beautiful! What a dream and the staff were lovely as well! I really enjoyed it. We went in the woodland and it was so beautiful 😍. Saw a herd of deer and splashed in a stream as well. It was a 2hr ride and fantastic! Definitely recommend! The cantering was by far my favourite it was just wonderful!

    Great Riding Experiences...
I had 2 great hacks with Pine lodge. One was mostly along the Barle Valley, the other was a mix of valley and moor, with stunning views. As an experienced rider, I really appreciated that both hacks were expertly accompanied and the 2 horses that I rode were forward going and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the 2nd hack when I was the only person. On both occasions we did a variety of walk, trot and canter. I will definitely book again when I return to Exmoor and would really recommend this experience.

    Fantastic place to ride
Visited Pine Lodge twice recently after not ridden for nearly ten years. Had a fantastic two hour ride on the lovely Jenny Wren with quite a few canters through the woods. Fantastic experience I'll definitely be back ❤

Great location, lovely horses and friendly staff
We enjoyed a 2 hour trek across the beautiful Exmoor countryside. The staff were experienced, very friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable (especially as it had been a very long time since we had last ridden a horse). We would highly recommend and look forward to returning for another trek - thank you

My daughter has recently returned from a 5 night riding holiday. She had the best time and is missing it already. All the guides were amazing, great fun and enthusiastic. Her riding has improved considerably. She has already asked if she can come back next year and given how much she has enjoyed it I can’t say no! Would highly recommend.

I just returned from several days staying at Pine Lodge on holiday from the USA.
I stayed in the teddy bear house and it was fantastic. Comfy bed, warm and powerful shower, nice kitchen and great couch to watch some TV. I had the breakfast every day and Emily is quite the cook. Bacon, sausages, egg, hash browns, etc plus yogurt, fresh fruit, toast and cereal. More than enough to face the day, I went for 2 rides on a cob named Georgia. She was brilliant and Katie and Emily were the best guides. The area is beautiful and close to the Exmoor Pony Center. I also recommend the anchor inn for dinner. It is 15 minutes by car and have great fish and chips. Sit outside by the river!
I plan to come back in a few years. Highly recommend 😊

My daughter and I went on a 2-hour hack with Pine Lodge Riding Holidays in May 2022, while camping nearby at Wimbleball Lake. We were very impressed with the whole set-up. Our guide, Emily, was so lovely, really friendly and knowledgeable and we felt completely at ease.

We ride regularly at home but enjoyed the change of scenery and riding some different horses, which were well-schooled as promised.

There were four of us in the group (plus Emily), which was a nice number and we rode through some lovely woodland and along the river.

I can't recommend them enough and I'm sure we will be booking again in the future.
