Re-opened in 2010, the Centre incorporates the former Bass Museum and tells the story of the birthplace of british beer, its people and the history of brewing in the UK. Our tour guides offer daily tours at 11.00am and 2.00pm each day and really bring the story to life. Sample some of the excellent real ales brewed at the Centre's Worthington Micro Brewery or enjoy a bar meal or a full flagon banquet in our restaurant with a beer and food guide to help you appreciate the flavours of beer. The Centre's corporate and function rooms (and our 400 capacity permanent marquee) are set in the historic brewery buildings and offer a great venue for your company function, weddings, parties and social gatherings.

This tour took over 90 minutes but was never boring. The range of machines, vehicles and brewing facts were staggering. An added bonus was meeting the two brewery shire horses, a pair of gentle giants. The cafe served really good food and obviously the beer was excellent! A great way to spend more than a couple of hours.

We visited the museum on route to the Pirelli Stadium. We joined the 11am tour which was very entertaining and informative. We found out the origin of "Gone for a Burton" and enjoyed 3 different 1/3 pints in the bar at the end of the tour.

A great way to spend the day. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Lovely to see the horses and old cars. Fantastic model railway to keep everything one happy. We used a visit Staffordshire card so it was half price admission. Within the price you're given tokens to sample the beers at the end of the tour in the pub. What's not... More

A very interesting tour of the brewery, wagons, vehicles and a train. Shire horses sometimes on show during special days and a large model of Burton town centre at the height of the brewing period. We complain about traffic lights everywhere, in those days it was level crossings, two a penny. A guide takes you round and a 'sample drink'... More

We chose to visit this museum on a weekday in February so it was not very busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and found everything to be very informative. The pair of shire horses were great, as was the model railway. The best feature is, of course, the opportunity to sample some beers. For those driving, or who just do... More

The biggest attractions of the city is the brewery. Compare to other big ones nothing special but because of the size and the locality has this charming feeling. The horses the old funky cars and the bar at the end of the tour just so English and different. Still a great way to spend the afternoon.

Booked for the comedy club night on 27/1/17. We arrived at the venue and had to queue at the bar for about 20 mins to get a drink as there were about 80 people in the room and one lady behind the bar. After finally being served we made our way into the room where the comedians were due to... More

We are sorry that you had a disappointing experience at the Club. We are always concerned when customers leave unhappy. A large group of 50 visited unannounced which placed great pressure on the team who were set up just for the Comedy Club. Whilst we are always pleased to welcome new customers, when it's such a large group without notice... More

I visited here with my dad and brother, who is an electric wheelchair user. Our tour guide was fantastic and had an extensive range of knowledge. The tour lasted longer than expected and I was pleasantly surprised at how interesting it was. The whole tour was accessible and my brother did not have to miss out on anything which was... More

Three of us visited the brewery museum on Wednesday 18th this year. 2017 what an amazing and interesting place. The tour is a must as the guide was an ex brewer as was his father. He is so knowledgable it is mind blowing I'm not one to absorb dates and people but this fella was just amazing. The takes about... More

Damp cold January morning enlivened by a visit and an excellent guided tour with Terry. Paced just right and full of interest and anecdotes. Obviously loves his subject. Some of tour is out of doors so very glad it wasn't raining. Three samples of beer amounting to a pint was very welcome. Will be recommending to family and friends
