Turn right at the station and the first pub is the Roebuck. Beers good and it's maintained its character. Staff and locals friendly and just go and enjoy a pint of Marstons & game of darts - it's a old corner pub,

5 minute walk from town centre. Over the bridge from the railway station. Excellent choice of 5 or 6 cask ales. Local brews. Snacks available. Staff friendly & helpful. Good pub. Good atmosphere.

Very good Bass served on my visit. One of my favourite beers so has to be on form for me to rate it and it was!

Been here a few times. The pints are served with a smile with a reasonable range of ales. Never had a bad experience here but have had one or two dud pints. Toilets could do with an update.

We had heard this was a good pub but still don't know. Enjoying a Saturday night in Burton we turned up to find a hen party and a group of lads singing football songs. Walked in one door and out the other.

This is one of three good ale pubs all close together. The Coopers and The Devonshire are the others. Definitely worth including a stop for one in here if you are on the Ale Trail in Burton.
