This was an incredibly fun experience. I got to tag along with my husband who received a voucher as a gift, and was so glad I did.
Every member of staff we talked to was friendly, knowledgeable and helped make the experience even more fun. As someone who isn't necessarily great with heights they were reassuring and incredibly professional so at no point did I start getting freaked out. You're so well secured and the whole operation is run so smoothly that for over-thinkers like myself you don't tend to get a chance to start worrying about things.
We went on a particularly warm day which was great as the zip line had great visibility and we weren't worried about getting wet doing it (it does still run in rainy weather). We opted to do the cheaper second run as well as it was so fun, and owing to the way other groups were running we managed to basically get straight back on again and got to experience it twice in quick succession.
My only niggle with it though is that it's quite pricey for the length of time you're actually 'zipping'; it's very fast, and while exhilarating, it could be cheaper. Somewhere between the original rate and the reduced second go would seem more appropriate. Price notwithstanding though, this is something I'd recommend to anyone.

Ok, so I’m 60. Should I really be doing this? Is the price exorbitant?
Well here’s my answers. Arrived and warmly greeted by Anya! I was a bit nervous as I really don’t like heights. Once I had been prepared with the first class equipment, I soon realised that the cost is truly justified. It is a very slick and well run operation.
All of the staff I encountered were well trained, courteous, polite and professional. Not a single cheeky mobile phone distraction in sight. Safety Video behind me, I transferred by minibus to the launch pad. I felt like an astronaut being transferred to the capsule for a space mission. Arrived at the pad and was cocooned into my suspended harness. It was a little nervy waiting for launch! But then I was free and flying as a diving peregrine over the lake past the chalk cliffs. It was truly exhilarating. So much so, I couldn’t help but make a 60 year olds scream on the way down!
I am an ex director of another theme park and I recommend this experience unreservedly to anyone of any age. Thank you to all of the crew for making this an experience of a lifetime! Whatever you do, book the video package as I can’t stop watching and sharing.

I'm really pleased that you see the value in our attraction!
I love the Skywire, there isn't anything like flying at up to 60mph at over 50 meters off the ground and words just don't do it justice.
We are opening the UK's first and only outdoor Skydiving machine this summer, hopefully we will see you again soon!

Park in the LOWER PLAZA car park. Come out. Turn left to the dropped kerb, cross and then turn right. Keep walking until you see signs for Hangloose. You can leave your belongings in a locker. Safety precautions were good with both equipment you’re wearing and harnessing you in before you start the zip wire down. The zip wire experience is very very good but is over to quickly, about 45 seconds If you want to video your experience then that's another £15.would definitely do it again 👍😁

Firstly I should say that I am terrified of heights and it was definantley they amazing staff that meant I didn't run away.
Checkin was freindly and quick, the team that fir you with the kit you need were clear and friendly and engaging about if it was a gift etc. The driver was also lovely.
The poor guys on the tower had to keep talking to discract me, but once strapped in and the platform was lowered I had complete confidence in it being safe.
The ride itself was brilliant and so pleased I did it.
Highly recomend trying it and I will buy a voucher for my husbads birthday as revenge.

Was a great experience. Was very nervous at start but so glad I did it and was so thrilling. Staff was very nice and spoke through everything and made sure you felt safe and happy. Only problem was we didn't have cameras attached to our helmets which lead to a long delay to go. Then after we reviewed the package and my video was on my partner overall video shot and photos. And same the other way round. Which shows massive delays and the editing is very poor. Will be discussing this with the team to sort or at least a discount as £15.00 each for the wrong format and video is poor.

Went today to do the zip wire, not going to lie, very nervous about it and have had a couple of disturbed sleeps worrying. I needn’t have worried it was amazing! The team were very welcoming and professional. You get driven up to the lift off point in a minibus and then have to walk up with all the safety gear on which was a little tricky.
The zip wire itself felt very safe, all the gear you wear makes you feel very secure.
Once you lift off it takes your breath away but it is all over in about 30 seconds. I would have no hesitation on doing it again.
I have knocked one star off because it is very expensive plus if you want any photos you have to buy the media pack which is money on top of what you have already paid and there is no other opportunities for photos as you are not supposed to take your phones up with you.

Unfortunately, for safety reasons, people cannot take their phones with them down the zipline but you are welcome to attach your own go-pro onto the helmet mount to get your own footage.

I cannot recommend this experience enough! We had the full package of the three activities and was not disappointed! The digital photo/video package is well worth paying the additional £15 extra for as well. I wasn’t actually aware Hangloose had the outdoor skydiving machine until we had booked the other activities and I cannot recommend this enough. Having done this before in Milton Keynes and being extremely disappointed, I wasn’t looking forward to it however I would go back and do it at Bluewater tomorrow! The instructors were amazing and made you feel so welcome and relaxed! The giant swing is a must, the adrenaline rush you get at the top and the amount we laughed (and screamed!) whilst on the swing is worth paying for alone! There was no queuing, everything is extremely organised and the staff are super friendly! Highly recommended alone, with friends or families. I will definitely be returning.

It was amazing - I wanted to go again! I would definitely recommend it, I felt really safe and all the staff were really friendly and put you at ease. They were so good with younger kids and adults if they felt nervous and so patient. Thank you to all the staff for being so great!

Hubby and I (72 and 62) did the zip wire today. You park in the LOWER PLAZA car park. Come out. Turn left to the dropped kerb, cross and then turn right. Keep walking until you see signs for Hangloose. Takes about 5 minutes to get to it. You can leave your belongings in a locker. Safety precautions were good with both equipment you’re wearing and harnessing you in before you start the zip wire down. The zip wire experience was really good but is over so quickly, about 40 seconds, so definitely didn’t think £50 per person was good value. £25 much more realistic. If you want to video your experience then it’s another £15. All in all we were there about an hour.

Just brilliant from start to finish. Staff amazing. Josh and Bailey were stand outs! Great fun and we and our 3 teens loved how they built up the tension and made brilliant experiences even more thrilling. They also were reassuring around safety and equipment at the same and made it super fun! Thanks chaps! A fantastic family morning! Everyone must do this!

In total you need to allow about 45 mins I’d say. They kit you out, give you a safety talk then mini bus you to the launch pad! The ride itself is like 30 seconds but it’s the most exhilarating 30 seconds ever! Hope that helps!
