Popped in for a drink before getting Chinese takeout . Unfortunately Chinese closed but had drinks anyway. Great assortment of traditional ales and a number of gins . No atmosphere and bored bar staff . Maybe will try again when more people in

Wonderful little micropub. A great selection of ales and cider. Nice and quiet without a jukebox blaring in the background! Just simple presentation and conversation with other locals. Perfect location for a quiet pint 🍻. We'll be back.

We ventured out of our noisy hotel in search a quiet drink and found this wonderful establishment. A fantastic variety of real ales for my husband and a delicious ginger and rhubarb gin for me. Great place

Nice ales and if you’re in to cider there’s loads of those. Friendly and great value. Explore the unique ploughman’s snack bags.

Four good real ales all in great condition and all interesting and a list of draught ciders too long to think about. Friendly staff and customers. Smart toilets but they are upstairs.
