Family visit to the windmill. Expected to spend a couple of hours at least. However only the windmill to see in a quiet residential road. Nothing else there. Once you have been in the windmill that's all there is to see. Whole thing took 20 minutes. Waste of time and money.

Tucked out of the way is this beautiful old windmill. Restored to it's original condition. A must see for everyone. Visit it in Shirley Road Croydon.

not a day out but if you have a spare hour well worth a visit guided tour really interesting kids will enjoy climbing the steep steps to the top and looking out. There are a few interactive things to do and you can grind some wheat and take a small sample home

Good afternoon out. Very enjoyable learning about the history of it. Even though it was here when I came to John Ruskin school here, before it had houses built on it.

Went to the open day. Volunteers provided lively and interesting insight into this tour of the windmill. Nice little tea shop. Worth a visit on a lazy Sunday.

We have taken our daughter a few times to climb the windmill and each visitor to our home too. It is a gem in Shirley and staffed by some lovely people who have a lot of local knowledge

It is so surprising that something like this is hidden between houses. It is free. The tours are great. The condition of the windmill is great. People working there are wonderful. You donate the place with pleasure. And there is a cafe there. I recommend.
