Do yourself a favour and allocate a full day to visit this amazing place. A visit to the Kitchens is a must-do and make sure you pick up the audio devices from the information centre. There is just so much to see here - you won't be disappointed. BTW - food can be purchased from the on-site café however there... More

There is so much to see and do at Hampton Court: tour the historic buildings, take part in the re-enactments, walk and play in the gardens; you really do need to allow for a whole day visit. The displays are beautifully presented and imaginatively signed; everyone also gets an audio commentary device to carry around, that we found useful to... More

This compares to Versailles, but is a complete insight into Henry 8th period and the staff are acting out scenes and demonstrating utensils and instruments of the day. this is a total must for anyone who is curious for the history of middle age England

My husband and I visited during half term. We were impressed that it genuinely takes about 3/ 4 hours and that is without overly taking your time. We had lunch which was very good but £10 per meal is pricey. I would recommend families to take a packed lunch. The maze was good but more for kids. We didn't have... More

A real taste of history. An easy train ride from London. You can pick up a ticket and entry combined at the station. Then walk next door over the bridge and you are there. Absolutely magnificent.

i went with my family, to hampton court palace to learn more about henry the 8th it was such a delightful day. Even though it was half term there were not that many people but all the activities were amazing. They had a maze, which was marvellous for the kids and they had all sorts such as shakespeare's love poems... More

My wife had always wanted to go so we made the trek via Waterloo main line station (35 minutes). 5 minutes walk from Hampton Court Station across the Thames and you see the beauty of the Palace arising. Well organised ticketing and pleasant staff. Issued with an audio and headphones which took a little mastering. There are a lot of... More

We decided to visit HCP on a whim after seeing a half price offer. Transport links to it were great from Waterloo every 30 minutes. The walk from the station to the palace was 10 mins tops. It would have been nicer had the weather not been horrid. Once there we decided to visit the maze first, which resembled a... More

A relaxing easy paced family trip, a very interesting and informative place, I found myself reading the history under the paintings of the person in the painting, Enjoyed the maze and the very well kept gardens and buildings which are highly maintained, Only negatives, limited parking and expensive, But worth a visit for a true insight into our royal heritage
