I have attended thai cooking class few months ago and it exceeded my expectations. Having done a few cooking classes in the past I have just expected this to be a normal cooking class, you cook, take your recipes and food and go home. This was much different from the moment I arrived till the end I felt very welcome in Paya's home and her amazing kitchen. She is an excellent host and the cooking class was just an addition to an amazing friendly evening with great company and excellent food. I will be back in the new year :)

Are you ready for a cooking experience that you will remember and cherish for months to come. Superb experience, didn’t know what to expect from this gift that we received. From the moment you step foot inside you are greeted with warmth and passion from the chef, the likes of which I have never experienced before. The cooking class was exceptional and I feIt I took a great deal away from this experience (including left overs). Our chef was very knowledgable, she showed real passion about Thai food. It’s a hands on course and no one is left out. From choosing the food you want to cook to getting stuck in, you are the focus of the day. All ingredients are fresh and you will possibly encounter some that you may have not come across before. The cooking session was informative and fun. The food was some of the best Thai food I have eaten, the best bit was I cooked it (with a little bit of help). Will certainly consider another cooking session for myself or someone else for that special gift. All in all a fantastic experience!

I bought this as a birthday gift for my wife, so we could enjoy an experience together and learn how to cook some great Thai food! We were fortunate to have a very personalised cooking course with only one other, friendly couple with us on the day too. We had great fun learning with Jirapan and she was a brilliant teacher. We will return for another course during the year for sure and if you are looking for a cooking course with a chef who breaks it down into simple steps and leads you to the point of eating authentic Thai food you made, then I cant recommend it enough!

We had such a great cooking experience! Jirapan was so welcoming, organised and entirely professional in her approach, and made the whole morning such a wonderful learning experience. There were great tips as what spices to use, how to chop certain things......all just such useful and helpful things to take back into our own kitchens. The food both looked and tasted amazing, and I'm going straight out to buy what I need to cook it all again in my own kitchen! Thank you!!

My mum, sister and me had such a great morning with Jirapan in her amazing kitchen! She was the ultimate professional but it was really fun and informative too and she instructed us really clearly to make 3 incredible dishes. We’ve all cooked Thai food before but this was something else and Jirapan was so knowledgeable. It made for such a memorable day and we enjoyed eating everything we cooked that evening for my mum’s birthday.

This was a wonderful learning and taste experience, with so many useful tips as well as recipes to be able to make the delicious Thai food again and again. The host was very clear in her instructions and made us all feel very much at home. It was great to meet new people and enjoy sharing this time with them.

Fantastic cooking experience! Jirapan is so welcoming and an amazing teacher. Not only is it a fun way to spend a Saturday morning, I came away with many new skills as well as enough cooked food to feed the whole family that evening. I would highly recommend going on one of Jirapan's courses.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole morning and especially the meal we created at the end. I thought the whole event was well run and well timed, with clear instructions and training throughout and suitable for budding chefs of all abilities. We had the BEST day! I went with my Mum, my girlfriend and my best friend. Definitely my favourite way to spend a birthday, with loved ones cooking and eating amazing food. Jirapan is not only an expert - so full of knowledge and such a patient teacher, but she is so warm and kind too. She has thought of absolutely everything to make it comfortable, fun and memorable. I am already plotting and planning what I want to learn how to cook next time.

If you want to learn how to cook authentic Thai food, then I would without a doubt recommend Paya Thai Cooking. Jirapan is really welcoming, she makes you feel comfortable. She is very informative about the ingredients and she was extremely engaging. You can tell that she is very passionate about cooking, and it's done from the heart. We had a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was absolutely delicious. Jirapan was very responsive to emails when I enquired about the class, and she accommodated the different dietary requirements.
