Grubby play area floor
Jul 2021 • Family
Visited today and at one point there were 3 adults and 3 children wearing their outside shoes in the play area.
Couldn't see a sign asking for no shoes to be worn although there was a sign asking for Socks to be worn at all times.

Children’s knives and forks are horrendous
Feb 2020 • Family
My three year old niece come out absolutely filthy never seen socks as dirty! ordered food and the children’s knives and forks were all bent and chewed absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t touch them never mind give it to my niece. One of the staff had a massive attitude could of possibly been the owner. Will not be going back

Inedible meal
Aug 2019
Two stars are for the play areas. Grandchildren had a good time playing.
Paid for 2 child meals on entry. One fish fingers and beans was just ok but spaghetti bolognese totally inedible. Spaghetti had been heated in microwave to within an inch of its life and was rock hard.
When table was eventually cleared by a staff member I was offered another but declined. No one from kitchen area came to find out exactly what the problem was.
Anyone taking children here should, in my opinion, take their meals with them to ensure quality.

Good place for kids and adults.
Jan 2019 • Family
You have plenty of seating (althought it can get busy) the kids love the play area's but the under 2 section could do with some fresh/newer toys and the ballpit is looking sorry for itself. That said though the value for money/unlimted time is great. the kids meal deal and entry is a great deal and as a parent you can grab a nice bite to eat and a cuppa inbetween chasing your kid around.

Lots of fun and games for kids
Mar 2018 • Family
I was recommended this place by many of my friends as I usually took my daughter to a similar place in jarrow. The title soft play is where the similarity ends , jumbo jim's is a lot more open and brighter. The cafe was a lot tastier and the ball pit had more than 20 balls in. We come here as much as we can as the daughter has hours of fun. The staff seem friendly and are well organised. Give it a try and your children will not be disappointed

Excellent soft play in the North East for toddlers
May 2018 • Family
I visited here yesterday with my little boy for his 2nd birthday and the place was a big hit. The place was so clean and spacious and i didnt have to worry about any big kids knocking my son over like alot of other soft play, the under 8 rule is perfect! Only issue was there were a couple big bubbles in the foam mats whicjh werent obvious at first site so we had a few falls but apart from that i can't fault the place. Will be looking to book his 3rd birthday here next year.

This is a lovely children's play area. The staff a very helpful and friendly. The food is good and the coffee is excellent. There is no time limit on the play time which is good for rainy days.

We were very loyal customers
Apr 2018
I have a membership here and can spend around £30 per week on top of that on food and drink often visiting 2/3 times a week.
I can’t fault the staff they are always lovely but the owner and her attitude is appalling, enough to make me not return and cancel my membership.

She has no people skills at all and upset my 11 year old by telling her ‘GET OUT NOW’ as she was helping my niece on the slide which she has done on numerous occasions and actually been told off management this is allowed!!!??

My daughter tried to explain she thought it was ok to help as she wasn’t playing to be told ‘I’m the owner no Your not’ in an awful aggressive manner.

We’ve been to a party here also a few weeks ago when my daughter came with us and she made her feel uncomfortable then by saying as we walked in the building
‘she can’t play mind’ in such an abrupt way. (I left it at the time as understand people have bad days so might have not meant to be so abrupt)

When I asked her why she would upset her and not just talk to her as we’ve came for a long time and never been an issue before as long as she is just assisting the little ones she has actually been told this is acceptable she said it was due to insurance reason which is fair enough but wanted to know why she would upset a child by being so aggressive she wasn’t interested and wanted to laugh at me and tell me she is as high as it gets as she owns the place so can’t complain!!

When I explained she would loose custom being so ignorant to how she should deal with the public her response was to laugh at me again.

(Another member of the public witnessed this and actually approached me and said she didn’t know how I hadn’t thumped her for the way she spoke to me, this shows how bad her manner was!)

Disgusting.

This is all one sided. I did not approach the child, I was getting another child off the play frame who was 12 years old when the girl came over to me and said " I'm 11 " I said then you shouldn't be in here. I then went to speak to the mother once I was finished speaking to the other parent, who was by then approaching me, she wouldn't let me get a word in to explain, If the child hadn't come over I wouldn't have said anything to her as she is small for her age. I certainly didn't speak harshly to the child and if I'd been given a chance to explain then the mother would have known what had happened. Some times people need to listen not just shout over people.
