Fantastic morning first time kayaking with our grandchildren, private session with Jaz and Adam.
The instructors were both-knowledgeable fantastic instructors making it an interesting fun session while teaching a new skill. The kids loved it.
We would definitely recommend this place for those wanting to learn a new water sport
And we will definitely back.

My partner and I both had great fun ghyll scrambling with Kem at Ashgill Force. Kem was really professional and ensured we had great fun whilst also staying safe.

We went coasteering with Cem as a family activity day. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed scrambling and exploring the caves. Our 9yr old has 0% body fat and despite many layers got cold quite quickly but Cem was very patient and took us out the water and we went scrambling on the rocks which the kids enjoyed! Thanks Cem - great 40th birthday adventure! Looking forward to more challenging adventures once we feed our 9yr old up a bit!!!

A mixed group of adults, teenagers and kids all had the best time out with Lee and the team coasteering. Lee kept everyone engaged and was great with the kids. We all pushed ourselves a lot further than we normally would and are booking a family activity together,again, very soon. I can’t recommend north east adventures enough. All equipment was top quality and the safety and of everyone involved was paramount. Can’t wait to rebook

We did a kayak lesson for beginners at south shields, family of 4 youngest being 6, all kit provided, ideal location , safety was paramount, all had a good time and now keen to get our own gear, thanks again.

My daughter who's 9 and I decided to give kayaking a try, as we are always looking for a new adventure.
Booking was easy to do and any questions I had were answered promptly.
Allen and lee were our guides for the morning. They provided us with all the equipment we needed and were professional and chatty the whole time.
The lads really put us at ease about going out on the water and taught us a lot about kayaking, the various seabirds and seaweed 😀
We were out on the water for over two hours both in the harbour then around the marina.🛶

The eased lockdown has got me thinking of outdoor adventures once again. Hopefully it won't be long before we can get back to doing this kind of stuff. Unlike my friends, I'm not the most confident when it comes to things like this, but Lee got me paddling and trusting the technique. He seemed to know how to pitch it. We had a fantastic time on the water, had a laugh and I really learned something. Hopefully he can work his magic with coasteering whenever we're allowed to do it.
