I think a local pub should be a place where you can go to have a drink in a comfortable atmosphere. The Lake has pub games, live bands, wifi, coffee and food. It is smart and have a welcoming manager.

Got a take out of 3 fish & Chips at lunchtime. Absolutely delicious. Fish was fresh with lovely batter. Chips were home cooked, peas and salad included. Staff were friendly, pub spotless thanks to new owners. Deffinitley return and certainly recommend.

Great for a 'ladies do lunch' afternoon. Good food and nice, relaxed atmosphere and very helpful staff. Would recommend, worth the drive off the beaten track.
