History seen and felt in a whole new way
Met Joseph for the first time and what an absolute gentleman, his collection of war memorabilia was outstanding, Joseph is really clued up on his historical accuracy’s, he allowed us to hold items in our hands something which is never possible at traditional museums, it was great when he gave us back story’s to items, it was well worth the visit from Scotland to visit. I highly recommend. I wish Joseph all the very best in the future and look forward to seeing him again in the near future when he will most likely have acquired more items for his very impressive collection.

    Amazing for children
This Museum is very good for children . My son is interesting to know about ww2 and this place was very helpful for him. He could see the real staffs and he was able to touch some of them and he had a wonderful time there. The person that is there , he have a more information to share and my son asked all his questions. My son said this place made my first dream . I am so glad to hear that.
We love that we made someone's dream come true! Thank you for coming to visit us.

    Highly recommended WW2 Museum
An excellent museum. Highly recommended. It’s rare to be able to see WW2 artefacts and weapons and be able to freely handle them. A fascinating wealth of militaria and history. We had a private tour from Joseph, who is clearly passionate about history and WW2 in particular, and before we knew it we had been there nearly two hours. An amazing find and we will definitely be back soon. My 10 year old son talked about nothing else for the rest of the weekend!
    Please come back anytime!

    Treasure trove of memorabilia.
I visited the site with a young person. We we both really impressed with the collection of memorabilia, artefacts, military hardware and personal effects the Grant has amassed. He takes a clear passion in finding out the backstories of his collection. It was really impressive to hear of the lengths he has gone to to track down the signatures to a flag captured by US troops! Well worth a visit.
Many thanks for your glowing review. This is very much a Father and Son's passion and we love to share it with others who have an interest.

    WW2 Hidden Gem!
A hidden gem! We took our 10 year old and 8 year old to the Grant WW2 museum and had a wonderful time. Joseph (the owner) was incredibly knowledgeable and had such a good way of interacting with the children. There is a wide range of interesting pieces in the museum and Jospeh has researched many of them and has fascinating back stories. We spent a couple of hours talking with Joseph and looking at/handling the museum pieces. The boys loved holding the different guns and even tried on a helmet. This place is really special - even if you have a small interest in WW2 it is worth a visit, with Joseph’s amazing knowledge it brings it alive. Highly recommended.
We love to show children around who already have a passion for military history. Thank you for coming to see us.

Best museum I've ever been to!
The most amazing experience! Grant has extensive knowledge and incredible artefacts. I've never enjoyed a museum so much before. 100% recommend. You're allowed to handle all the objects which is what makes this experience so unique.

    Accommodating and informative.
I am very grateful for the very accommodating service I received when organising a visit for my ex veteran 87 year old dad. I had given short notice and a small time frame and Joseph went over and beyond to make the visit possible. Joseph was very informative as was my dad. Well worth a visit if you are interested in war or history. Thank you.
It was a pleasure hosting you and meeting your Dad. We love to have veterans visit.

Best WW2 collection I've ever seen!
What an absolutely amazing place and experience. We were given a personal tour of the many interesting, unique and fantastic pieces of WW2 history here - Each with a stort behind them, and explained in fantastic detail! You get to not only see a vast array of WW2 items, you get to touch and hold them as well, with my personal favorite being the beauty that is the M1 Garand and its famous "ping" sound when a magazine is ejected. It truly is a gem, and spent a solid 2 hours going through everything! Couldn't recommend it enough!
    Hi praise indeed. Much appreciated.

Hidden gem of a collection, the family of the collection was very welcoming.

It was a memorable experience being so close to the history and being able to handle the history, a once in a lifetime opportunity. The talks on the history/items were spot on too and lots of knowledge gained.

Huge thanks to those involving in running the museum and putting up with the chaos of the Bugs, I highly recommend a visit!

Good luck with the future of the museum :)

This little gem of a museum is not be missed if you are into military history. Joseph has an amazing collection of items all with interesting stories to tell. And the thing that sets this museum apart from more traditional museums is that you can actually touch all the items. This means that you can cock a MG42, try loading a ammo belt into a MG34, handle a luger, mauser, 1911, Mosin-Nagant, Stg. 44 to name just a few! All this and the patience of Joe explaining the history of the items.
