Have been here before. Usually OK. This time disaster. Service slow. Food awful. Will not be returning. Nobody seemed interested.

Visited on Sunday 8th July 2018 and wish I had never bothered. Arriving just after 12 noon with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Decided to go to the Arms as it is walking distance for us both and we could eat there. Ordered drinks and sat down with them to look at the menu. Chose Pork dinner with an added extra of cauliflower cheese.Perfect, or so I thought. Went to the bar ordered two more drink and asked if I could order food. The reply from the young man serving me and tapping away on the screen without even looking at me was "Yeh!". Could I have two pork dinners please with a side order of cauliflower cheese, I asked. One slice of beef on my friends plate about half an inch think and two on my plate at half the thickness. Pre sliced carrots and green beans that were both rock hard, plus the beans were cold. A yorkshire pudding that neither of us could cut. Three tiny dry roast potatoes. To add insult to injury there was NO mashed potato at all. When we asked why we were told because we don't have any. We hardly ate any of it and felt very let down by a local establishment that seemed to not give a dam! We complained to the staff who's only reply was. "We will tell the chef so he knows for next time". Trust me, there will not be a next time for us. Marstons Brewery seriously need to look at this place or I'm sorry to say it will be the next housing development going up around Nuneaton.…
