A traditional pub serving an ever changing range of up to 12 real ales featuring beers from Oakham Ales, Grainstore Brewery and many other micro breweries. It is not just about the ales as you can enjoy a glass of fine wine from our independent wine merchant, lovely to sup in our sunny courtyard garden or sample from a selection of gins and malt whiskies.

Lovely recently rejuvenated side street pub with many pumps on the go. Bigger than you think. Magnificent rear patio\ garden with murals. Impressive!

A proper pub, well kept ale, friendly knowledgeable management and staff. Great atmosphere too. I don't think there are many other places I'd have travelled forty miles (one hour drive of two hour train) for a beer at New Years Eve. The Scotch Eggs are...More
