Lovely pub just outside Petworth. Good service, good home cooked food. Real traditional feel and totally unspoilt.

This pub has a real oldy worldy charm to it with low ceilings and small separate areas. It has a garden to the rear and seats out the front as well. We had fish and chips here which were well cooked.

Thank you everyone at The Stag for making my birthday lunch with children and grandchildren so memorable. The food was delicious, especially the liver pate, baked Camerbert, roast pork and meringue pudding. We all loved it. Excellent service. The Walker family
