Lovely activity for anyone, especially young children. The volunteers have taken the time to place lots of objects, scenes and interesting things to spot on the little journey. Never had to wait long, great value and very friendly volunteers. Always an enjoyable activity and the kids love it 😀

Large garden centre with a small soft play area, and quite a large restaurant. Our intention was to visit the SDLR and it was such a delight - the station is in the middle of the garden centre! The miniature train runs every 15 minutes, manned by enthusiasts who were friendly and keen to share their love of trains with my grandsons. It's a very good value day out and we all enjoyed it - the train, the soft play and the wide selection of plants!

I’ve been enjoying this miniature railway pretty much since it was built. The trains are beautifully built, maintained and presented. The staff clearly love giving everyone a special experience, and I don’t think anyone can be disappointed, it’s just a wonderful thing. Kids love it, grown ups love it, and grown up kids love it, woo woo!
