The trip to Jenolan Caves involves some narrow roads and a view back towards Katoomba etc. Along the way we encountered Kangaroos and wallibies. The entrance to Jenolan Caves tourist spot is welcomed by a magnificent archway formed by rocks. I thought this place would be a remote little area, but there is a hotel there and like a little... We did 2 cave tours, the oriental and the Lucas caves. Be prepared for stairs ! The guides are wonderful and knowledgeable, you can tell they care ! The caves themselves are amazing and worth the cost. We would have done more if we had more time.

My parents, Mother-in-law and I did a tour with Sight seeing tours and the tour of Lucas Cave was included. I had asked 3 different people about this tour and was told each time it was an easy tour. Once we started the trip we also spoke to the tour leader who said their was only 200 stairs when we... More

We drove 1.5 hours from Katoomba and it was well worth the effort. We took the River Tour which lasted 2 hours. Dave our guide was both funny and knowledgeable. The tour was not exhausting but there were a lot of steps. My wife had back surgery last year but managed the tour without any issues. We can't comment on... More

First ever visit to this iconic landscape. the tour was good - the right length at 1 hour, saw some amazing features in the caves. take a jacket - it is cold inside no matter what the temperature outside. Bit disappointed - there are a number of different tours to do, and we were told that our tour would see... More

We've been to a few caves but loved Jenolan, we did a couple of the caves and if you're looking for lots of formations then the Orient cave is the one for you, we went in the middle of summer and it was really hot but it's nice and cool in the caves and the Grand Arch was a great... More

Did the overnight stay at caves house so we had the luxury of the 5pm imperial cave tour and the 10am river cave tour without the hassle of rushing around (also fitted in the Carlotta arch and blue lake walks with no trouble) The caves are magnificent The guides are so knowledgeable- special thanks to ted for making our river... I visited the caves together with my brother. We were very lucky that we had a small group. Some parts of the tour will be harder to hear when you are with a bigger group. The guide was very good and had a lot of knowledge. We went into a part of the cave that not every tour goes into,... More

Many unusual and unique formations of its own compare to other caves in US and China. A long and curly drive from Blue Mountain but worth the trip.
