    AMAZING & OUTSTANDING
OUTSTANDING!!! What an amazing little place, we went on a girls/business trip as a couple of us are local business owners. Couldn't have been happier, spectacular oysters, panko crusted being our favorite. Kenny, owner & host was delightful, funny, charming and made the atmosphere really enjoyable. Will definitely be back! Thanks Kenny and staff from a group of your girl fans.

Get Shucked! The best and freshest Oysters by far!
Went twice on our four day Bruny stay even though the queue was stupid! They even closed the gates a couple times and we had to wait up the road at Bruny Cheese for 20mins. However they are by far the yummiest Oysters we have eaten in a long time and worth the wait. Group of us went and we all agree it’s 10/10 experience! Get the mixed dozen if they don’t sell out 😉

Great oysters, but aim for off peak!
Chaotic, but tasty diner and takeaway where, on a busy bank holiday weekend, the staff were at full stretch. ‘I’ll have to get another shucker in,’ the manager was overheard saying as a long queue formed at the takeout window. Great oysters, but we did have a long wait.

We dropped in on Valentines Day fairly early around 10.30am as we headed over to the island for the day.

Service was awful. No eye contact - no acknowledgement, no greeting; just “what can I get you”. Then not even a “Thanks”, he just walked away.
For a business making money from tourists this just isn’t acceptable.

The oysters we had were dry. He took them out of the fridge so I wonder whether they had been opened the day before, as we were there early.

Don’t bother. Go somewhere else on the island until they learn they can’t treat their customers with such disdain.

our first stop after getting off the ferry from Kettering - and popular with LOTS of people. a long queue, as it was lunchtime, but worth the wait! we each had a dozen oysters - nude and with 3 dressings, and could have eaten more if we weren't going to eat again soon and have dinner later. great service and quite a large area to eat your meal. large carpark onsite, which fills quickly as it is so popular with visitors - would happily eat here again. can get cooked oysters and chips etc, so loved by all members of the family. more enjoyable here that at the markets in Launceston and Hobart

Absolutley delicious! We ordered the mixed dozen but had to go back for another dozen!
Great spot to enjoy truely scrumptious oysters.
It seemed a shame to close up at 4pm as we would of had a few more beers and it seems like a wave of people were coming in only to be turned away as they were closing - and packing up around us as we were savouring our delicacy.. but beautiful oysters!

Very popular tourist destination. The kitchen can get very busy with its offerings of oysters from natural to Kilpatrick.

For those in a rush there is a drive through window.

I tried the 1/2 dozen natural. Very delicious. I was going to also get 1/2 dozen Kilpatrick but was told there is a 30min wait.

They also sell packs of ocean trout, whole smoked trout and wallaby.

Definitely worth a visit.

OMG, OMG! When we arrived on the island early in the day, this place wasn’t open so we wanted to ensure we caught it on way back to ferry! Soooo glad we did. I have never tasted such delicious natural oysters as this! We also got mixed dozen and was delicious but natural won hands down! Staff friendly. Takeaway idea unique.

Stopped here after getting off ferry and it was quite busy. I think it gets busy when the ferries arrive but it was a great atmosphere. Very relaxed and chilled. Oysters were and chips amazing and you can order alcohol as well.
Went back a couple of days later for lunch and it was a lot quieter and we just chilled there for the afternoon enjoying our oysters and beer. Great place for a feed and would recommend to anyone coming to Bruny

Oysters were super fresh & super tasty & the beer was nice and cold. The oyster lovers in our group claimed they had never tasted better. The non oyster lover enjoyed their bread.
