We did the full hike around/through South Bruny National Park in November on a pleasant day. There were so many beautiful areas it was hard to pick the favourites but over our approximately 5 hour hike we thoroughly enjoyed most of it. Some parts were nice but not inspiring while others were magnificent like the ocean cliffs. Because of the... More

Like all National Park locations, this walk is well signed and cared for. However, a short stretch between two sandy beaches half way round was badly overgown with bracken. Generally, there are no steep gradients. A clockwise route is recommended. The first half can be a little monotonous with little variation in scenery but the second half is much better,... More

This walk is along a spectacular coastline with dolerite columns. However the track is badly maintained by Tasmanian National Parks with few signposts, large fallen trees over the steep path requiring many detours all the while within a metre of the cliff edge. It felt like an accident waiting to happen. For safety's sake definitively no children, no rain, need... More

The south coast of Bruny is really something rugged and primal. The cliffs in the distance and the view from the lighthouse are some of the best you will get in the area.

We stopped here as part of a tour and saw the Tasman Arch, the Hells Kitchen, and the beaches at Adventure Bay. The waves were impressive and provided beautiful photos. This area is a treasure and needs to be preserved. Great place to visit.

There are a lot of walks available throughout the park but if you want a short 1 1/2 hour easy walk then the one from Jetty Beach is good.

I wish they would stop the beach driving on Cloudy Bay beach. Too many hoons use it as a donut track. No respect! All the walks on Bruny are great. Bird life in this area is outstanding.
