We were interested in the whiskies, and did their short tour. This was interesting, and led by a friendly and helpful guide, but I don't think it added much to what was on the posters in the tasting room. The tasting was a disappointment. You...More

Whisky Walk tour led by Anastasia. An excellent tour guide with a very informative script - very well conducted. Restaurant, a mixup with the ordering but the great food was definitely worth the wait in a lovely setting. Our favourite tipple was the Original blend

Thanks for the kind words Frank - it's a pity you couldn't try the cafe while you were here - it is always pretty busy and bookings are essential. Perhaps next time?

Hubby loves whiskey and this was on his bucket lift whilst visiting the northwest of Tassie. The cost for tasting is very reasonable, the ambience warm, cosy and comfortable and the whiskey high quality. The bottles are not cheap to buy but then as a...More

If your a whisky lover then a visit to this quality distillery is worth it. Book a tour for a taste testing adventure. Pour and wax seal your own bottle of whisky of choice is a must. Meals are available from the restaurant.

The tour is brilliant. Whisky is not the cheapest, but quality is not cheap. Great food and coffees available as well.

On tour from P&O cruise. We stopped into Hellyers distillery, didn't eat. Got a great introduction to whisky, the staff walked us through some of the history, the variety of scotchs and variants. Had an opportunity to taste and purchase, great stop over. Loveed it.

although we didn't eat here i did observe that dinners seemed happy and chatty, we came for the whisky, and what a variety, lets just say the credit card got quite a workout
