Stunning garden and such gorgeous flowers, I am from the Northern Territory and we simply cannot grow such incredibly beautiful flowers, we had fine intermittent rain but nothing could dampen the beauty of this garden. I walked around for quite some time just taking it...More

Beautiful gardens to visit at any time of the year. Staffed and managed by volunteers and the largest collections of rhododendrons in Australia. To explore all of the paths and beds will take you 2-3 hours and there is quite a lot of steep walking....More

We spend several hours just roaming around here. These gardens are lovely. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic volunteer who gave us plenty of information and advice. If you like gardens these are not to be missed.

We recently visited this beautiful garden on a lovely sunny spring day. As mentioned by other reviewers, the gardens are cared for by volunteers who do a wonderful job. The azaleas were in full flower during our visit and made a lovely colourful sight, but...More

We have visited before at peak rhododendron season, so to experience the blossoms, particularly in the Japanese garden, was a delight for us this time. There is always great colour at Emu Valley though. The azaleas and particularly the rhododendrons are sourced from many different...More

No public buses, to my knowledge, but it's only a little way out of Burnie. It would be less than 15 minutes by taxi.
