This is the Tasmanian wilderness - virtually no people, green and wet, tress surround. The walks are all easy and manageable and the incredible clean fresh air is breathtaking.

We only did the short walk to the swinging bridge over the river. Easy fifteen minutes in and back for some great pics.

we did the first 15 minutes of a multi day walk, the kids enjoyed the walk down to and across the swing bridge.

It's been 30 years since I rafted down the Franklin in the days of the battle to stop its destruction, and stopping beside it now, still flowing free, was a wondrous feeling. The Park is World Heritage, and for those willing to endure the discomforts...More
