This trail is 1 of the most beautiful walks we had in Tasmania. We did it in abt 40mins although it was supposed to be an hour as we were in a hurry to catch the sunset. The view from the top is stunning and...More

Getting to the lookout is fairly easy and the view of wineglass bay is well worth the effort. We got lucky and arrive before there were too many people which was nice. The second time we went there were too many people and it wasn't...More

Absolutely gorgeous views of Wineglass Bay! The walk is definitely worth it, and it actually doesn't take that long. Yes, it's uphill most of the way, but the steepest parts of the track are steps, and there are plenty of stops along the way to...More

Awesome look out!! Worth the hike!! Take water, comfy walking shoes and some good walking pants. You warm up quickly so don’t take a Jumper if you don’t need it. Don’t forget to grab a Park pass and bug spray Incase needed from the visitors...More

Moderately steep climb - can be done stand alone or as part of a significantly longer walk. Views down to Wineglass Bay are stunning. If you have the legs, continue the walk down to Wineglass Bay beach itself - it is quite magnificent- beautiful sand...More

Fabulous walk with an equally amazing view at the top. We were so glad that we braved the additional 1.5 hours to walk down to this amazing beach and spend the morning on such a pristine and secluded beach. It is a fair walk back...More

My husband and I tackled this walk and we were fairly confident in our ability to successfully reach the lookout ... but it was a bit of a struggle 😆. Lots of stairs and some steep inclines which gave the legs a good work out....More

This is a must do walk - even if you have to huff and puff up the 1000 steps. The view is spectacular!

You need to be fit (ish) to really enjoy the hike to the lookout, but the climb is worth it! To walk that extra 1.5hours down to wineglass bay itself would be ideal when not on too much of a timeline. The lookout is amazing...More

The only ticket you need to buy is the one to get into the national park. You buy it at the information centre on the road in You don't need another ticket to do the walk. Enjoy
